What I don't understand is why Shilpa is being favoured so much as is being suggested in the forum. She was never a well known actor to begin with. Correct me if I'm wrong...and forgive me for sounding sexist...but wasn't she just a starlet in her early days as an actor? I remember her only in the Oye oye song.

Since then, her only claim to fame was her sister, Namrata's marriage to South Superstar Mahesh Babu. So, why? Ashish is almost her contemporary and has done more well known movies than her and is part of a select Bollywood clique. So, why are they fooling around with his character?

Exactly my point. So why are the EMA lot kow-towing to her? I can understand if she is a Poonam Dhillon o Padmani Kolapuri who were leading actors of their time.

I don't think he has used his contacts also for himself. He has some really good friends in Bollywood

What I would say in this instance ie EMA is, Ashish is too humble to ever dare overstep the boundaries of the makers. They gave him an opportunity and because of that he will never over-step that boundary out of choice, not force. Thats all!! I agree that his character has been butchered and bearing in Raghav was the best product of EMA it does sadden me to the core. He was my only hope when we heard of so many crap twists, but alas, he has severely butchered.

I think we all know deep down why she is being favoured😉 due to her outer appearance she is more socially accepted (in terms of On Screen). Even though in terms of looks I think Kalpi is prettier.

Aashish in an interview said he will not do anything that he will have difficulty watching with his son.. How is he goigng to explain this .. leave a girl waiting in mandap and marry else someone for revange .. poor guy
