ELAS: Brief Update: August 20th, 2007.
Nikhil kidnaps Anushka. He steals a car, and car explodes.
- Nikhil sneaks out of Anu's room, where Anu is laying wondering if Nikhil too Anushka. Nikhil is at the door, trying to get out, when Anu comes behind him and tries to stop him from leaving Nikhil tells her to leave him alone. He pushes Anu out of the way, leaving her to fall and hit her head on the corner of the table. He runs out, and hearing the uproar, Amma and Biji ask Anu what happened. Anu has a cut on her head, and tells them about Nikhil and how he kidnapped Anushka. Nikhil runs to the hospital, and sees Dhruv coming. He hids Anushka under the table and gives her chocolate to shut up. Dhruv comes to Nikhil and asks him why he's not asleep and why he's acting strange. Nikhil is in denial, and Dhruv tells him that he promised that he was going to tell him everything. Nikhil tells him that he one day will. Dhruv leaves, and Nikhil checks under the table and sees that Anushka is missing. Dhruv gets a call from Anu, and she tearfully tells him that Nikhil kidnapped Anushka. Dhruv tells her that he'll call the police, but Anu stops him, telling him that Nikhil has gone crazy, and he could do anything. Anu tells Dhruv that he should asks Laila about Nikhil's whereabouts, as Laila is in contact with him. Nikhil finally finds Anushka sitting in a room on the couch. Anushka finally speaks, and tells him that she misses her mommy. Nikhil goes to Laila's house, and Laila is surprised to see him. Dhruv knocks on Laila's door and tells her to open up. Nikhil hides in a room. Dhruv asks Laila if she knows where Nikhil is. Laila lies saying that she knows nothing. Dhruv tells her that Anu told him that she knew about Nikhil, and that he kidnapped Anushka. Nikhil wonders how Dhruv knows Anu. After Dhruv leaves, Nikhil asks Laila how Dhruv and Anu know eachother. Laila tries to push the thought away and tells him he must hide. Nikhil ignores her and continues to ask her how they know eachother. Laila hastily tells him that Anu did a cover story for Dhruv. Laila tells Nikhil that he must hide in a desterted area so no one can find him. He agrees. Nikhil is back in his room and is packing up everything. Anu's manghalsutra falls on the floor and he remembers when she ended the relationship. He sees Anu and Anushka's picture, and takes it out of the frame, and rips the picture in half, and throws it away. Nikhil thinks to himself that he must tell Dr. Dhruv the truth about him, incase he wonders where he left. Nikhil writes him a note thanking him for everything, and that he must now tell him the real truth. He goes on saying that he always wanted a kid, but was unsuccessful, until an angel came to his life... Dhruv goes to Anu's house and Anu hugs him begging him to help him find her daughter. Dhruv tells her that he will have to get the police to search. Anu tries to stop him, but Dhruv tells her that nothing will happen to Anushka, and that HE Will bring Anushka to her. Nikhil is running in the street with Anushka. The police are after him and threaten him that they will shoot him. Nikhil turns around and tells him that if they do that, the bullet could hit Anushka. They agree, and they stand across from Nikhil. Nikhil, seeing that the police won't shoot him, runs to the nearest car, and tells the driver to stop. He pulls out the poor driver, who falls to the ground, and dashes into the car, with Anushka in the car seat. He zooms off down the deserted road, with the police after him. A truck is zooming from the opposite direction. He sees the truck, and tries to swerve. He misses the truck, but crashes into a gate... The car explodes into flames.

Comments: Brief update. Details are not important. This episode was not worth watching. Cars exploding WERE SO LAST YEAR. Or the year before. Kidnapping babies...SOOO 2002. Seriously. We've seen this before. It's not exciting. Lets hope Nikhil and Anushka are okay. Also, I honestly think that the baby actress, who portrays the role of Anushka, deserves to get paid a lot, and also an UNLIMITED supply of chocolates. Why? Because the poor girl has to go through a lot on the set. I wonder if she even knows this is acting.
