This was a beauty!!...you gave us a fair overview, why we could not fathom Suman's obstinate obsession with her independence . That in spite of the fact that we ourselves are pretty independent as women ...it wasn't explained in the series and you gave us that twist here to make the whole PCT demolition saga much more relatable.
Shravan was used to playing her savior since the time he knew her. So he goes ahead and does what comes naturally to him..provide a net for her before she even falls. His hurt when she does not accept his extended hand is so touching here, his confusion as to what has changed the dynamics between them was so beautifully pointed out...if he could be a first point contact when disaster struck her during their childhood , what could possibly define him as 'anyone' now.
The most beautiful moment of this update was when while handing over the property papers to her, Shravan said that it wasn't a help, it was something that he could do. As a friend, when our loved one is grieving, you end up doing everything that you can..what a melting moment there!!
You made Shravan read the papers before he fought the case, that's really becoming of a big lawyer that he was touted to be.
This update was exquisite, almost like all other of your works.
The last paragraph...speechless there.
