Chessy,
Suman has not indicated anything other than a platonic friendship between the two. So I don't think she knows of the contents of the letter. I also think that, unless things were to progress in the powder puff front, it is too soon for him to introduce her as his fiance. At the moment, I think Shravan is out to get back at Suman, not necessarily romantically.Other than Shravans inclination toward Suman, there is nothing romantic about the times they have shared. A friend, a best friend at that, irrespective of his/her gender is an important part of a persons life. And love comes in different forms. So Suman always loved Shravan, but was never IN LOVE with him. Shravan always loved Suman, but he fell in love with her. To love as a friend is different to being in love and wanting to spend your life with that person, which is what Shravan wanted from Suman.Moving on to Suman, she loved and still loves her friend Shravan but is not necessarily in love with him, yet.Suman has been focussed on things other than just Shravan- her responsibilities. Shravan has been equally focussed on his life as he tried to build it and Suman, who has always been at the back of his mind and the trigger for how he shaped his life. He fashioned himself into the man he is now because of Suman.Though he is important to her, Suman has never considered him priority 1 where as for Shravan, it is all about Suman and has always been about her.
