I think Shravan's anger would be justified only if he saw Sumo kissing another boy.

That is something he would not be able to take especially when he had professed his love to her. It is ok if she does not love him... but to love someone else... that he would not have been able to digest.

Pushkar never mentions Shravan's love letter does he? I dont think that was found by anyone. The young impulsive Sumo would have decided to kiss a studd and ignore Shravan's letter. Some thing like this would seriously affect Shravan.

And if he is going to string Sumo along, make her have deeper feeligns for him, take her to the party and introduce Susheel Urmila as his gf/fiance the scenario seems similar to the past dont it?

After all Urmila is of his status and class and supposedly his equal and Sumo never considered him her equal in public at school. So this time around she gets rejected!

I think she either might have laughed on his face after reading letter thinking it is a joke or she might not have read it but he would have believed that she has..
and yes u r right ..I don't think anyone knows about the letter..

I am not really sure...

It's been pretty confusing at present... But what can be something that suman considers it as petty and it was big deal for him...

I am hoping he wouldn't go on with that new girl of Vendy bhabhi honestly...

I remember a flash back scene where young Shravan, completely disheveled, all sweaty, hugely agitated is looking for Sumo, he goes and asks her friend about Sumo where he is told that she is taking some junior's case. ... Looks like that was juss before the incident... Let the story unfold...

The intimate moment would mean nothing to sumo. She would have done it for her image and forget about it. But the same would not be the case for shravu.

Plus what he saw would not have been what would have happened. He would know only half the truth.

If he goes that would be punishment enough for him. He would end up day dreaming about sumo in their meetings and would rush to her afterwards ;)

She did laugh at him remember... before reading the letter. That sure would not matter to him. She rejecting him means that she might choose him later. But she being intimate with someone else might be something too much for him to take. Even if she did not commit to him.

I am sure it would be something in those lines... as the last time Shravu goes to see her she was supposed to be with a junior boy.

I wouldnt mind Sumo wooing Shravu and getting him out of the darkness. She sure is strong enough to do that... The party might be a good start for her to know what really is making him behave the way he is behaving with her.

If Sumo were attracted to another boy, Shravan would have been hurt but perhaps not insulted. Again, the level of his anger and sense of being wronged would depend on the degree of low self esteem he may or may not have had.

Shravan was drawn to Sumo because of the contrasts in their personality. Where everyone called him a geek and avoided him, Sumo embraced him and his friendship, albeit in a hidden way and unknown to her school friends. Sumo showed him empathy and so he was drawn to her.

For him to have turned his back on her, an incident in their past caused him to believe that the empathy Sumo seemed to have for him was in reality not there. For him to have come to that conclusion, Sumo may have done something to let him down. Whatever happened was caused by the letter he wrote. But it is clear she did not read it. There is no indication that Suman is aware of the romantic feelings Shravan had for her. So in Sumans head, what she did to him that caused him to leave is very different from the reasons that caused his departure in Shravans head. There is many a slip between the cup and the lip. Both of them are thinking of different things and so the importance of those events and the affect of those events is perceived differently by the two of them.

Beagle, nice response.

As you rightly said... they balanced each other in the past. But does Shravan really need Sumo at present? He has changed for the better... he is now the most eligible bachelor. And Sumo of all people knows this... She keeps saying that she would cherish their old memories and would not want to get close to the current Shravan. But is still excited seeing the dress, dressing up to meet him etc.

Shravan is going to invite Suman to the party and then announce powder puff as his gf/ fiance then this situation will be similar to what happened in their school days? Pushkar did not say anything about Shravan getting insulted at school. We have only talked about Sumo not reading this letter. What if Sumo had indeed read the letter and said 'yes' to Shravan and tried to spend more time with another boy? What happened at school was not a public incident it was known only to Suman and Shravan.

There is bound to be an explanation for what happened in the past where both S are right in their thinking... We need to wait another 16 hours to know a little bit more about this 😔

Only one loophole here... why the entire class to the party? hmmm... guess we do need to wait!

Suman has not indicated anything other than a platonic friendship between the two. So I don't think she knows of the contents of the letter. I also think that, unless things were to progress in the powder puff front, it is too soon for him to introduce her as his fiance. At the moment, I think Shravan is out to get back at Suman, not necessarily romantically.

Other than Shravans inclination toward Suman, there is nothing romantic about the times they have shared. A friend, a best friend at that, irrespective of his/her gender is an important part of a persons life. And love comes in different forms. So Suman always loved Shravan, but was never IN LOVE with him. Shravan always loved Suman, but he fell in love with her. To love as a friend is different to being in love and wanting to spend your life with that person, which is what Shravan wanted from Suman.

Moving on to Suman, she loved and still loves her friend Shravan but is not necessarily in love with him, yet.

Suman has been focussed on things other than just Shravan- her responsibilities. Shravan has been equally focussed on his life as he tried to build it and Suman, who has always been at the back of his mind and the trigger for how he shaped his life. He fashioned himself into the man he is now because of Suman.

Though he is important to her, Suman has never considered him priority 1 where as for Shravan, it is all about Suman and has always been about her.
