OK after today's episode, it's official. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW & Shravan/Suman.

Their first meeting was so so good. Much better than I expected It was all sorts of adorable. Even their teen selves were much more than mature than them😆, with both of them acting as though they don't care. But of course, the prize goes to Suman.
Bechari Suman😆 all her attempts at showing Shravan that she was unaffected by him failed.
First, mami told him she made food for him. Then she fell out of the window only to have him open the door for her. And then Dabbu revealed that her stomach was making noises & she had obviously not eaten. Oh it didn't stop there. Dabbu just had to go on about the rubik cube.

It's so obvious that they care for each other & are affected by the mere mention of one another, but their pride & ego is stopping them from being honest & confronting each other. This show is turning out to be much more angsty than I thought, even though these two are too adorable😳 Wonder what it will take for Shravan to finally speak to Suman, & for Suman to break down her walls & confess that she has waited for him all these years.

Since this show has completed a week, there are some points that I would love to applaud the show for -

1. Apt use of childhood scenes as flashbacks rather than random childhood scenes that don't hold much significance. Very good editing & thought there.

2. Progressive characters - 2 leads who are well-educated & independent, Nanaji giving importance to Suman's work, Suman's relatives having no problems with her having a guy friend & cooking for him while they are out (interesting how it is Dabbu who questioned what Suman & Shravan were doing alone in the house), the bond between Mr Malhotra & Nanaji as well as the friendship between both families despite the class difference

3. Lack of melodrama in both families, rather more of subtle hints of disagreements like relatives not liking Suman going to USA with them, & Shravan's aunt not liking Pushkar being sidelined.
Hope the show remains this way in the long run!

Cheers,
Samridhi

Yes, totally! Today's show was just awesome! Maza aya dekhkar. Heh. When she opens the door and the title track goes off, 😳😳omg, dil garden garden hogaya.☺️☺️ firstly the title track is awesome👏👏
Secondly, the scene was so cute, she opens the door and then closes it, "Nanaji ne kaha tha jab tum aao toh darwaza bandh kardun"

And the way they both pretended that they don't care, but inside I'm sure both must be dying to hug eachother and revisit the old memories. SHRAVAN, dude, she loves you!

I'm totally loving the show and the characters! Nanaji, dabbu, Jennifer Bhabhi (Is that her name idk)Summo, Shravan, and ofcourse PUSHKAAAR. <3

Hi Samridhi nice to see you here. Its been a long time. Hope you post everyday like old times.
Today's episode was lovely. The leads are really adorable together. I am really enjoying the show so far. Hope they keep the melodrama away & maintain it this way. Also I like some of the other characters like nanaji, pushkar & shravan's father..hope we see more of them!

U have pened down everything beautifully. M now kind of addicted to this show. Their first meet is so well shot. Both are so egoistic that none ll accept their faults. Shravan really trying hard not to show being affected n suman is failing at it. N i just afore their childhood scenes. Its eye pleasing to watch. I guess aftr watching the precap shravan ll give a big jhatka to suman and thus their tashan ll begin

You have summed up the positives of this show so beautifully. The lack of excess melodrama, independent well-etched protagonists with a backstory that is interwoven seamlessly into this show makes this show enjoyable to me. It's refreshing and nice to watch a female protagonist like Sumo -- independent, gutsy and one who can fight her own battles and the sorta role reversal (television-wise) when they were younger. It is very rare to find female leads that depart from the usual soapbox cliches.

I enjoyed watching their meeting too. It was funny and cute and angst - all rolled into one. I was expecting some long-drawn out eye-lock and discomfort, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was done with such subtlety, whilst simultaneously adding depth to their characters and relationship with the flashbacks. I loved how with each pol-khol that Dabbu did, Shravan would look up/slightly at her.
