My cousin sis is your namesake but that's just an aside. I am a voracious reader and started with my passion quite early in life. After finishing with the whole gamut of classical litt., I have now started reading non fiction especially on psychology and even self helps. However, reading this FF written by you made me absolutely nostalgic and wants me go back the happy world of romantic novels. You really write well. Waiting for more. 😃

Part 3

Tejal drags her bag and put it at the platform. She looks around but could not spot Vaibhavi. She thinks to call-up Vaibhavi and dials her number.

Vaibhavi: "Hello Tejal.. Have you reached?"

Tejal: "Yes. But where are you? Have you not yet reached?"

Vaibhavi: "Sorry I couldn't reach on time. I'm on my way though. The traffic is so heavy. Uff!! Please wait for 20 minutes dear. I'll reach soon."

Tejal: "Okay. Where will I wait? Shall I move towards the entrance of the stand?"

Vaibhavi: "Yes you wait near the entrance. I'm coming soon."

Tejal starts moving towards the entrance. Meanwhile Raghu calls Aniket. He tells that Anushka has already reached the bus stand. She is trying to find Aniket. Aniket tells him to send him Anushka's phone number. Raghu tells he'll send a sms and that he told Anushka to move towards the entrance of the bus-stand. Aniket cuts the call and starts moving towards the entrance of the stop. He was busy checking his phone inbox and dialing Anushka's number. He didn't look at his surroundings while walking.

Suddenly "BANGGG"! !

Aniket found himself lying on the ground. He abruptly got up and looked at the poor girl whom he pushed without seeing. The girl was still lying on her tummy. One of her footwears was out of her foot. Her suitcases were scattered. Aniket quickly stood up and tried to help the girl. He helped her stand up and gathered her suitcases. He also brought her shoe which was lying at a distance. He put the shoe near her feet and looked up to apologize, "I'm so sor'" and stopped.

His words didn't come out suddenly when his eyes fell on the girl's face. She was just so strikingly beautiful. She was wearing a simple white Salwar-kameez, her skin was smooth and fair. She was busy dusting herself. She had long black curled hairs which were a bit puffed-up on the back of her head. His eyes gaped through her features when he uttered, "Anushka???"

Girl (annoyingly): "WHAT???"

Aniket (coming out of his trance): "I'm sorry. Are you Anushka??"

Girl: "Is this the new way of messing with girls? First you push someone very badly and then without even saying sorry you start asking her bio-data? Pick up any random name and ask if she is the one??"

Aniket: "I'm sorry miss. I'm extremely sorry. But I didn't push you knowingly. I was busy checking my phone when u came in front of me."

Girl: "Wow!! Me?? I came in front of you? Very good mister!! Push someone to the ground and accuse her that she came before you. Is this your habit of jumbling up with girls or this is the first time?"

Aniket: "I said na I'm sorry. Besides I didn't push you purposefully. It was just a mistake. And by the way, I was looking for someone called Anushka. So I thought maybe she was you."

"Aniket" a girl called out his name. He looked around and found a very stylish and good-looking girl was standing near him. She asked "Are you Aniket?"

Aniket: "Yes. If I am not wrong, are you Anushka?"

Anushka: "Yes. I'm Anushka. I came just five minutes back. I didn't have your number so I called up Raghu. He told me to wait near the entrance. I was just going towards the entrance when I noticed this small gathering here. So I just peeped in and saw you asking her if she was me or not".

Aniket: "Woh actually it happened by mistake. I didn't notice her and .."

Anushka: "Its okay Aniket. Sometimes mishaps do happen. Shall we go now?", she said giving a cross look towards the other girl.

Aniket: "Oh ya ya.. Sure. You move towards the car parking lot. I have my car there. I'll bring your bags".

"Okay! Come soon", saying this Anushka starts walking towards the parking lot. Aniket picks up her bags and looks at the girl standing in front of him.

Aniket: "I apologize once again Miss for causing this unwanted situation. I really am sorry. By the way, you already know my name. May I know your name?"

Girl: "Tejal Wakharia"

Aniket: "Tejal?? That's a very pretty name".

Tejal: "Thanks"

Aniket: "Tejal, can I drop you somewhere? I mean I have my car with me. If you need lift then I .."

Tejal: "No its okay. My cousin is on her way. She'll be reaching here any minute. Thanks for asking"

Aniket: "Okay.. Thennn.. Ummm.. Byee?"

Tejal: "Bye"

Aniket reached the parking lot. "Aniket, why are you late? Were you again chatting with that rude girl?", enquired a frowning Anushka.

"No Anushka. I was not chatting. Just saying sorry, that's all. After all the fault was mine.", he said while keeping the bags at the back of the car.

Anushka: "I have seen whose fault was it. But the way she was behaving, I'm sure she is a streetside bully girl".

Aniket: "Don't say like that Anushka. Come, sit. Let me drop you to home".

In the car, Anushka asked about his band's performances. He said that today they were going to perform in the weekend night bash in the hotel "Starline". She said she would like to see them perform.

Aniket: "Sure.. Raghu is there na! He'll take you.

Anushka: "No.. I want you to take me. You come to receive me from my home. Umm, you'll come na?"

Aniket: "Sure! But.."

Anushka: "No but-fut. You are coming to take me.. That's final. Please."

Aniket: "Okay"

Here in the bus-stand, after waiting for 10 more minutes, Vaibhavi came.

Tejal: "Vaibhavi, Kya yaar? I'm waiting since ages!"

Vaibhavi: "Sorry Tejal. Woh, the traffic was so heavy. I just could not make way for my car. Sorry"

Tejal: "Chal thik hai.. Shall we move? Or talk about everything here only?"

Vaibhavi: "Sorry sorry.. Let's go"

Tejal: "Yaar please, sorry mat bol. I'm sick of hearing "sorry" since I landed here"

Vaibhavi: "Kya?? How many more people apologized to you before me that you are so sick of?"

Tejal: "How many nahi.. Sirf One. A boy, ummm, no! Not a boy. A handsome and dashing young man!!", she said dreamily.

Vaibhavi was pulling one of the suitcases. "kya? What did he do to apologize?"

Tejal: "Kuch khaas nahi. I was walking towards the entrance of the stop when suddenly out of the blue he collided with me and dropped my bags. I was very angry with him first and spoke curtly but when I eyed him properly, Aww!! He was not a rebuking material"

Vaibhavi put the bags at the back and sat at the driver's seat. "Accha?? Pehli nazar me itna?? Hmm.. Toh what else did you know about him?"

Tejal: "Kahan yaar.. Just his name, Aniket. That's all. Before asking anything some Anushka came and snatched him away?"

Vaibahvi: "Anushka? Meri Tejal behna ke story ke shuru me hi yeh third person ki entry?"

'Tejal: "What story? Shut up Yaar.. Let's go. It was just a mishap"

Vaibhavi starts the car. "You are coming to my home Tejal. This time I'll not let you go to your flat. Everytime you come, you don't stay with me."

Tejal: "Why did I buy the flat if I am not supposed to stay there?

Vaibahvi: No Tejal.. You have to stay with us this time. Mom was also asking why you don't stay with us whenever you come..

Tejal: Accha chal thik hai. I promise I'll stay with you for somedays in your home, but for now, drop me to my flat only dear.. I want to be alone for some time.

Vaibhavi: Did you come to Ahmedabad to stay alone? Okay.. I'm dropping you now to your flat. But only for 2 days haan.. Day after tomorrow I'll come sharp in morning to pick you up.

They reached at the flat. Vaibhavi helped Tejal in carrying the bags to upstairs. Tejal asked Vaibhavi for a cup of coffee. She denied.

Vaibhavi: "Accha Tejal, what are your plans for today night?"

Tejal: "I just arrived Vaibhavi. What plans do you think I would have made? I don't have any plans except resting."

Vaibhavi: "Okay then, cool. Today night we'll go to "Starline" for dinner. Also every weekend there is "weekend night's bash" party. I heard "Melody Startlets" are performing today there. It is the most famous rock band of the city. I have heard their songs but never seen them performing live. U are joining me today..

Tejal: "Okay.. I have no other plans as such. I'll come. But we have to work on our new designs too Vaibhavi"

Vaibhavi: "We'll work soon Tejal. But today no work. Only fun!! Be ready by 9:00 pm. I'll come to pick you up.

Tejal: "Hmm".

Vaibhavi leaves. Tejal looks around her flat. It is quite dirty. She dusts all the rooms and then freshens up. Takes her meal and a small nap. When she wakes up, it was quite dark. She remembers that she has to go out with Vaibhavi. So she picks up her dress and starts getting ready..
