It would be nice if they show him as the suppressed or competitive brother. If I were Dhruv and my Dad put me down publicly, esp. infront of my brother and wife, I would want to rebel too.
Kabir does rebel but in a more open way. Dhruv appears to me as shady in the contrast. He's a little like Nebula from GOTG. I know weird comparison, but I think he might secretly dislike his father and want to take him down.
Well if that's the excuse they give for Dhruv's "shady" behaviour (if it ever happens), then I would side by Dhruv. If parents mock, taunt, and demean their own kids, then the kids are going to retaliate.
It would be a great twist if Dhruv does turn out to be shady because of that reason and then joins hands with Jhanvi.
