Anaadi never divorced Bhavri

One of the things that has bothered me in this show is Anaadi never actually divorced Bhavri. If my understanding is correct, the two of them are still married. Now that Anaadi is married to Matheli, Matheli is technically the second wife.

Yes, thats right. Anadi never divorced Bhavri and has gotten married Maithali bcos Bhavri had said she never wanted to look at either of them and also that Anadi is free to marry whoever he wants to. So Maithali is the 2nd wife of Anadi. So when Bhavri's stepmom says "Go have the SR with Anadi and make it stronger legally", she is absolutely right, though it is immoral thing that she was asking her to do.

But Bhavri does not do what her stepmom asks her to do. That makes her chances very bleak legally if she later does not want to divorce and if Anadi wants it. Reasons (which are obvious): though Bhavri married Anadi, she never lived with him + Bhavri got pregnant with someone else in full senses. This is in terms of law. This is the same even religiously too.

But when looked at the character's own faith, Bhavri though married Anadi, never lived or loved him at all and she is pregnant with a child of someone whom she loved and I think they did have their own small private temple wedding (I haven't watched that episode and read that here in forum.) I do not know who else was part of that wedding. If it was only these 2 people, Bhavri & Shaurya, then that marriage doesn't stand a chance legally. It also doesn't stand a chance bcos it is their 2nd marriage without getting their 1st one severed.

Same happened with Anadi & Maithali. They had a social wedding before their SR, but it was 2nd marriage for both without ending the previous one, so it is not acceptable. Like Bhavri & Shaurya, Maithali & Anadi may not feel anything wrong bcos they had a marriage before a SR though that is not proper.

Now what can happen is, all these 4 ppl should get divorced from their 1st weddings and marry again like they want to now. That would make these 2 pair jodis proper.

Also, they haven't yet shown anything about Shauyra's declaration of death. It was only shown that one day Maithali sees Bhavri going in a car in a white saree and she "understands" that Shaurya is dead. They might show this part when they show the reasoning behind this new Bhavris demand.
