do you think matheli is too sweet?

how would you answer this question? i would say definately sweet and too sweet at that.
she continues to be nice even after being abused a million times. it is good that she is a sweet person, but at times she is too much. most of the time she just answers with "yes" or "no"....or she says nothing. i hope she get too too nice because it is rather annoying.

Yes she is too sweet but i think that she is very understanding person as now bhavri is being rude to her but she understands that she has gone throw alot in her life and there is some sadness and frustration she is going through, Maithili is a true friend of Bhavri and she care about her alot, i am sure later bhavri will realize her mistake and ask for forgives from maithili. Maithili loves Anadi lot and she know the he will understand. Hopefully eveything will be ok soon

i agree she is too understand and always puts others needs infront of hers, which is fine. however she should not forget about herself. sometimes it seems like she enjoys torturing herself everytime she keeps mentioning things about her life. i understand she lost a lot of people in her life, but she has to move past that and go on. she gets so stuck having a pity party for herself. 😭

She is definitely bordering on the too sweet role but compared to the characters she is not there yet. Matheli carries some guilt in that she feels responsible for the loss of Bhavri's mother and what has happened to Bhavri since then.

Her guilt does make her feel she needs to give up to Bhavri what will be rightfully hers - Anaadi - and this guilt is something that she will eventually need to come to terms in order to fight for her love. I hope the CVs do address this aspect of her character by not making her come across as malicious or selfish but as a woman who has done right by her friend only to betrayed.

The dialogue written for her when she handled the truth about what had happened to Bhavri was well done; she was very forgiving as a friend should have been in that circumstance. However, her continual acceptance as Shuruya as her husband - a man she never met - is a bit over the top and annoying and hopefully, once she is with Anadi she will forget about him.

yeah she's very sweet and nice but she knows how to stand for herself when times arrived and needed as she did when kalindi was sending bhawri in her place.

@telenovelle yesterday night my shift was on arrival as i did not have lot to do i got to read all your posts on DS forum you really made the night easy as i really laugh a lot.the teeth ,clothes, eyebrows and lot and lot that you remark of the actors your comments etc thanks.

i don't think she knows when to stand up for herself. she needs to learn big time. there have been so many times she has been put down that she just takes the crap dished out to her. that sucks. she needs a stronger backbone to stand up in the world espeically with the family she is living with and in general. matheli needs to become someone nasty..not completely but at times when she has too....... 😊
