Anas, apparently under the effect of alcohol lost his composure and touched Deepika inappropriately, leading her to slap him.
The incident sent ripples in the industry, for it's not every day when two leading stars of Indian television get into a physical confrontation.
Post the slapgate, Deepika and Anas refrained from talking to the media. However, at the recent 1000 episodes completion celebration of Diya Aut Baati, Tellychakkar.com caught up with Anas.
When we asked him about the ugly spat, he said: "Controversies are a part of the industry. Yeh sab hote rehta hain."
When we asked him to further elucidate, the actor said: "Let it be. Everything is settled now, so why dig up older issues. All's well."
Anas, hope you and Deepika bury the hatchet and move on in life.

Its Really Surprising from his part that he did not say even a single word when asked the reason , Actually from the Sources on that Day he was on high on Temper and alcholoic started using dirty and unprofessional words on deepika. After getting slapped he settled matter with her before CINTAA takes final decision (no one knows if he begged or requested her but as per sources he settled matter)and now he is in his Limits Stopped giving Tantrums to PH.
Why Anas did not say a word about Slap like he gave for some Reporter in India-Forums??
