Dabbu buys a bouquet for Dylan while Dylan's car is blocked by Chaddha. He asks Chaddha to run a damage control news saying he has been trapped. Dylan asks why he should do this. Chaddha offers him a bag of money while Aseem clicks his photographs. Dylan pretends to be happy but then throws the money at his face and warns him that he would do a sting operation on him that will make him so shamefaced that he won't be able to show his face to anyone. Dylan reaches office in anger but gets busy in work and Dabbu is unable to thank him. But finally she goes to meet him to thank him but Dylan says that he did not air that news as he did not get approval from top head and he is actually very angry with the person who aired it live in the morning. Dabbu is upset knowing this but Dylan says that this news might be important for her but not for the channel and that he cannot risk rivalry with builders like Chaddha as he is answerable to his bosses and channel. Dabbu starts crying and Dylan asks her to move on as sometimes what we want doesn't happen. Dabbu leaves in a very upset state of mind saying that now her faith has faded from not just journalism but also from humanity. She then hands him the bouquet saying thanks for telling her the truth and that these flowers will die just like her faith. As she leaves, Mirchandani turns around and says even he used to think that he would have aired the news but now he knows that he is with the channel. Dylan assures him that he is with him. As Mirchandani leaves, Dylan thinks how he can't tell Debjani the truth, and then flashback is shown how Dylan had carefully changed the news CD when the officer in charge had left for tea. He then thinks to himself that he might have broken Debjani's heart but it was necessary to fight this corrupt system. It's necessary that these people should think that I am with them for me to be able to expose them from within. Aseem comes and shows Dabbu the pictures he had clicked.

Dabbu is shocked seeing the pics and Aseem then starts corrupting her mind against him and how he made one of his men follow him and he clicked his photos. Dabbu says she would have not believed these photos had she not heard the news from his own mouth and how he is angry with the person who aired this news. Aseem is confused why Dylan did not take the credit for the news. Dabbu says she wish she knew who aired this news and Aseem decides to take advantage of the situation. He asks why she wants to know and when Dabbu asks if he aired that news, then he leaves from there towards the parking lot. Dabbu follows him and Aseem says he didn't want to see her and her family upset but she should not let anyone know this as he might lose the job. Dabbu hugs him believing him and Aseem smiles evilly seeing his plan working.

Dabbu says she doesn't know how to thank him as he helped her without caring for himself. Aseem helds her hands and says that he still loves her and hasn't given up hope yet. He says how he was brkoen from inside when she had rejected him but he knew that he won't be able to live staying away from her and that's why he decided to be her friend. he says he is sure that one day, she will accept his love and then asks her that if that day would ever come.

Dylan sees the Shimla conference snaps on his laptop and gets lost seeing Dabbu's photos. He then recalls how upset she was today. he moves to call her but then decides against it and says to himself that he can't drag her in this mess because if she says anything against these people then she would be in trouble. He thinks its better that he remains fallen in her eyes as he might be able to some good in that case and the day she realizes the truth, she will understand why he did what he did.

Precap: Dabbu tells her parents that he is ready to marry Aseem. Aseem hugs Dabbu in office deliberately to make Dylan jealous and Dabbu doesn't really like the hug.
