it means dabbu(debjaani) is not that dabbu(actually dabbu means an under-confident person who can easily be brought under the toe)

she is not at all dabbu.hre are some instances

1)in the very first episode of the show,she remained least concerned about suptavastha of her stars and seemed to be fully dedicated towards her career

2)when she was thrown out(not literally) of deshdarpan news channel so that neha could get the job,she didnt break down.infact she stood straight and strode for an interview in nation's leading news channel right now news(as shown in dwtg)

3)she being her,fought the lobbo mansion case strongly even after knowing what kind of pressure in the office could have his boss put on her so as to win the case

4)she ,for right now news channel interview ,broke her moun vrat(fast) going out of the league and leak and proved to be a career-woman

5)only for the sake of her mother she set out for finding a white cow and all in the burning sun found it and made it eat the prasad (food) not caring for her skin sensitivity 😆

6)she tried to make aseem understand that they are only friends in a very honest and noble manner.and refused to marry him neglating the parental preassure she was put into

7)she is not afraid of goons and chadda.when chadda stopped his car and warned her to leave the thakur villa,she didnt faint or over-react or anything like that.and when in shimla goons attacked deblan,dabbu didnt get afraid

8)she is also very assertive about her feelings towards dylan,hence proving she is not a dabbu

D one where Chandi had designed an outfit 4 d show's topper to impress Pappi Lee. Dabbu spoilt d dress first , by mistake though , but fixed it , and ,even hosted Chandi's fashion show with great confidence.

Agree: Yes, she bounced back pretty easily with the whole "fault in her starts" plot. And she also bounced back with not getting that job. That was pretty cool. And it's nice that she's accepted her feelings about Dylan instead of being in denial and saying "mujhe dylan sir se pyaar nahin ho sakta" or other similar bs. And it was so cute the way she was acting when drunk. I still can't get over it.

Disagree: I am seeing too many "damsel in distress" situations between Dylan and Dabbu that I do not approve at all. Especially when she keeps reminding her family that Dylan saved her life. Like yeah cool, if anyone else was in Dylan's shoes during the elevator situation, he/she wuld have done the same exact thing as Dylan. And the riot situation, she put herself in that situation so she should have put herself out of there as well. I don't like the dependency on Dylan too much. And the whole Chadda situation... idk, i don't like that plot whatsoever so I don't have much to comment on it.
