Bubbly and talented Meera Deosthale who essays the character of Eshwari/Eshu on &TV's Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls, is winning audience's heart with her Bindaas character on-screen. Before this show happened to Meera, she was seen in cameo on Sasural Simar Ka and Zindagi Wins.
TellyBuzz spoke to Meera to know more about the real side of her, how did the show happen to her and much more. Read on to know more what Meera has to say...
Meera can relate herself to Eshu in real - "I am not the youngest one in my real family. I have a younger brother but still I get pampered by my family. I have 9 brothers from my father's side and I am the only daughter in my family so I get a lot of attention and I get pampered a lot. I am more like Eshu in real life - straight forward and tom boyish. I like playing sports, specially Basketball. I used to play Basketball on state level when I was in school. In the book Pricey Thakur Girls, Eshu plays Basketball only but on the show it's been twisted and Eshu plays Tennis. I am learning to play Tennis now and it's a great sport."
Meera's parents have been her pillar of support throughout her journey - "The show happened to me overnight. Eshu was the only person who wasn't casted. I was called for audition and the next day for look test. I had my look tests and I got finalized. Next day I began shooting. I didn't get much time then to digest this but when we went to Delhi for the promotions, then I felt that this is the life I wanted and I am happy. My Mom was really happy to see me happy with what I desired. My parents have supported me in every decision of mine. After my 12th std. I decided to go into acting and without questioning me, my parents helped me to settle down in Mumbai from Baroda."
Hard work was the key ingredient in Meera's achievement so far - "My journey from Baroda to Mumbai was not easy but when I want something, I get it by working hard and planning down things. I had to work hard and lose some weight for the character and I have enjoyed it."
The reel family is like a family in real too - We all share a great bonding on the sets. From some days, we all are not shooting together and we are really missing each other a lot. We have lots of fun always and we all are like family. There was a news report that on-screen we the sisters have a great chemistry but off-screen we hate each other. We all were laughing over it. After our shoots also we sit together and gossip.
Meera is overwhelmed with so much of love pouring in from her fans - It feels great to see that people really love me. It feels so good to see that people have started loving me in such a short span of time and they make lovely edits and write messages for me. I just love all of them and they are great. They support me so much and I will try and keep up to their expectations. May God bless them!
All the best Meera!
