A Lacework of Emotions
Sometimes we put up walls. Not to keep people out but to see who cares enough to knock them down.
The episode commences with a fiery Dylan, questioning Dabbu ,who gave preference to a diminutive lizard over him. He peradventure is not used to such secondary treatment for he has always been exalted by all. He is piqued by her chutzpah that hurt his condescending attitude, but we know it is this spark that will make him fall head over heels in love with her.
In the LN villa, we see that Anji like all others is under the impression that Aseem is a 'happy-to-help' ,good boy. Binny , apologises for her snappy and snobbish behaviour, and admits to have given into pressure. We can comprehend her burst of Emotions, but not necessarily forget about it. Anji, on the other hand, has a big heart and instantly forgives her . They shower upon each other much love and also express their mutual concern and worry for Dabbu. One may notice the dialogue when Binny says that she was merely wearing the facade of being strong, depicting that the theme of masks who soon be delved into. Whilst one may empathise with Binny and her applaud her courage to accept her mistakes, we appreciate her for dealing things with maturity and not being a sissy.
Farce sets in with the DebLan indulging in cagey comments about animal shelters. They decide to avoid squabbles and shake hands, and pleasantly it is Dabbu who asks for it. She observes a lacerate in his hand and ministers to it. The She affectionately uses his tie to dress the wound while he looks on with predilection. He playfully reciprocates to her care and walks leaves her vouching to do something out of the way.Mamta, subsequently treats Aseem munificently and offers the wolf in sheep's clothing a place to repose. His sweet talk , makes her feel rather indebted to him and hides the avaricious man 0behind the mask.
Dylan, scares Dabbu and offers her food to eat. She gleefully accepts and they prepare Maggi for themselves. There is much blithe in the mise en scene , as they jauntily blather with each other. We see a stark contrast in Dylan's character who is no more his usual sombre self. They seem to revel joyously in the smidgeon of time they spend together. They settle on tattered pieces of carton, and are soon lost in the world of fantasies and dreams. The couple seem rather at ease with one another and self sufficient. They awake, only to realise the intimate position they slept in , cuddled up in each others arms. The awkwardness is broken by the fusillade of knocks at the door. She refutes to leave his side despite his continual pleading, showing that she would stand by him against all odds. The door is forcefully opened and much to their delight it was the police. They inform their near and dear ones about their safety and yet again, successfully they had overcome a tribulation together. Dylan is seen to be zealous and awards her with a holiday to which she accedes with the same enthusiasm. Her dress gets stuck to a nail and impulsively she raises a question on his character . He bursts into a cholera rage and vociferously says that he was not inclined in having any romantic partnership with her. He even says that he was wrong in being kind to her. She is shocked and hurt at her own inane self, soon overwhelmed by disappointment when he cancels her holiday. It is clear that he still regards her as an able professional worker, who requires his aid to discover herself. He hides his attraction with rude words and vows to be strict to bring out the best in her, for she would otherwise take him lightly.
The flow of events is natural and not rushed unlike the prior episodes. . The change of emotions and moods reflects the fickleness of a man who needs a partner to discover himself and , of course slowly yet, steadily uproot ones faults. The only thing that bothered me was the female singer's shrill ,jarring voice that is aperturbation in the soulful background music. No complaints against the cast and crew. And this episode is must watch for filmy and romance lovers.
Waiting for replies.
