My Friends Call Me Drama Queen - Meera Deosthale

Meera Deosthale aka Eshwari the youngest daughter of the Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls is having blast playing her tomboyish character . For in real life I am just like her, I will never wear skirts, I am more comfortable in jeans. I am also a sports person like my character (she is shown to be a tennis player) having played volleyball and hand ball. I have also represented my district (Vadodara, Gujarat) in Kabbaddi.Interestingly though I had never tried my hand at tennis before, so before shooting started I learnt to play this game as well."

Talking about her character she says, "Since Eshwari is unfeminine like sisters and very practical so despite being the youngest, she tries to get her romantic sister's on to ground zero."

When asked about the initial audience reaction(show went on air 30th March) she says," I feel blessed for people on social media are now beginning to love the chirpy and bubbly Eshwari. I guess what also works is that have a lighted hearted show. There is no over the top drama, just not the normal fights and love in the same breath which we see in all every day families."

This is your debut TV show?, so any jitter bugs ,? " A bit, but I am very lucky to have got a great director( Rakesh Kumar) who is really teaching me the ropes. I am also very lucky to get veteran actors like Supriya Pilgaonkar(on screen mom) and Anang Desai( on screen dad) to guide me through the scenes. "

So how did acting happen well?" I was born for the arc light's, you may say. I started acting way from nursery class , my debut performance was Cinderalla. I love the stage, green room and make- up etc . Also in my personal life, I like to mouth long dialogues, so my friends call me drama queen."

In closing Meera informs us that there is great bonding among five girls on set," we spend lot of time gossiping and dancing. "any boy talk as well?" That is one very interesting topic but since I am the youngest I have the least knowledge about the same and my sisters give me lots of gyaan on the same subject. Having said that the story(based on a book) is written in such a way that my elder sister Anjini (Saraa Khan) any way talk a lot about how to get the right man on screen, so there Is really no need for extra lessons."
