After doing a reality show Bigg Boss 8, actress Sukirti Kandpal is back on screen in a daily soap but in a different role this time. Sukirti who has shown variations in her roles, is all set to essay the girl-next-door kind of a role on & TV's Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls.

In conversation wit us, Sukiriti talks about her character, life changed after Bigg Boss and more...

What made you opt for the show?

The main reason for taking up this show is it is based on the wonderful book Those Pricey Thakur Girls. It has been penned down nicely and also I trust the production house. The cast of the show is amazing and the role of Debjani is also really good.

Tell us something about your character Debjani?

Debjani is a girl-next-door. She has dream of achieving what she wants, she is a very soft hearted girl, and full of life and bubbly.

Do you relate your reel life character with you real life?

Yes, I do because Debjani is very passionate about animals and so am I. During Kaisa Ye Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai, I took animals to get them vaccinated, I can't stand any one hitting animals specially dogs. Actually I can stop my car, take along with me and walk out from there.

Yes, my character is very much like me because when I read the book and when this role was offered to me, I really thought that she is like me because in the book even she has curly hair and many more things are quite similar which I can relate myself with this character.

How Big Boss has changed your life?

I have earned lots of money (laughs). I think it worked very well for me because it was financially a good decision. I got quite a lot of recognition and after that I was offered many shows.
