I don't know if he's upset or not (although he has full right to be), but what he said is so true. The name, fame, and money exist only till your show lasts. He seems like a smart man, who knows what his options are.
Coming back to his stint in DMG: I really miss him, and he was such a breath of fresh air amidst all the love stories in DMG. But they even ruined his character. I remember there was this Shilpa interview on her birthday where she also said that she missed the old Atul.
