Jasmin Bhasin is not disappointed with the news of her Colors show, Dil Se Dil Tak, going off air. It had a great run of nearly a year and a half. I really enjoyed working with the entire team, right from the cast, production house, to the channel.

Looking ahead, she wants to take a quick break before getting back into the groove. "I can't sit at home for long, says Jasmin, who had earlier done Zee TV's Tashan-e-Ishq and a few films down South.

Ask about Dil Se Dil Tak's concept of one man and two women, and she says, "We handled it with a lot of grace. The lead male character was not a bad man; he was not out to have fun with two women. Circumstances put the three of them in this awkward position. Had we wanted, we could have followed the normal template of making one woman bad and the other good; but we chose to be realistic, that sometimes life gets complicated.

"Personally speaking as well, I would not condone a man having fun with two women at the same time.

Talking about co-stars, she did not want to compare Siddharth Shukla with Rohan Gandotra, who replaced the former as male lead, for supposed tantrum-throwing. "Each actor is different and we all have our strengths and weaknesses. Creatively as well, I got a chance to play something different from your normal sati-savitri heroine. It was a risk, but it paid off handsomely, getting lots of love and support from the audience. I am proud of my journey.
Point out that Rohan quoted that the show shut down because audiences did not warm up to the one man two women story, and she replies, "I don't comment on what other says. I still stick to what I said above.

Taking that argument further, had they followed the old black and white template, would the show have lasted longer? "I am just an artist, and don't feel it right to interfere in the creative process, which is not my forte. I too would not like someone telling me how to act.

Besides TV, she is game for doing web series as well. "Having said that, I am not desperate to go digital. The character has to be meaty enough. I also have certain limitations regarding skin show.

Way to go, Jasmin!!

She is still dillusional. Or she is playing ostrich. But it won't help her. I really liked when Avika accepted the shortcomings of her show laado, even when she was being preferred there.

Jasmin is still immature and had a lot to learn, I m surprised she had not yet commented on her poor acting skills which caused viewers to hate her role. And what grace she is taking about? RD was kicked out to make her solo lead, thankfully audience had the brain to see through the discrimination. The show was supposed to doom when sid left, it was RD who carried it even after being reduced to a doormat. Jasmin still thinks this show was some kind of revolution. I really wish never to see her anywhere on tv again.

This woman doesn't sound like a normal human being. There are some issues with her. Calling her delusional is like insulting delusion. Did she really use word 'grace' for a man who was banging a mistress keeping his wife and daughter in guest room? 😆 Are her two brain cells communicating in same language?

On which planet is she living? In which world Pallu wali lallu ki Teni is getting love and appreciation? I guess 0.8 on channel like colors is known as appreciation for her.

To follow black and white concept, you need to give another woman equal space. Even Dada had more dialogues than Shorvari in threesome dilchasp nonsense when he was not even part of that abnormal banging schedule. Shashi aunty cannot see her wooden doll getting overshadowed by someone. So, Shorvari was reduced to wallpaper.

Gosh, how delusional and stupid she can be? Graceful, really? Or the fact that her character was favored over the real wife's character is making her to say all this? In which planet she is living where people are loving Teni? I am sure she always used to read all the comments on twitter/insta about how people hated Teni and didn't want Parth-Shorvori to separate.. Not even her own fans appreciated her character except a few.

I usually follow actors in their next shows when I watch any show this closely.. Just to see how they perform in a new character.. I had done this for all actors of BV, even though I hated their characters in that show. But I don't think I will watch JB again in any show, atleast in near future.. First of all, she needs to work a lot on her acting skills and character selection ability, and secondly, I will remember Teni's manhus shakal whenever I will see her in future.

She was good in the starting when she had to portray the carefree, bubbly Teni, but she absolutely failed to portray emotional side of Teni. Her emotional scenes sucked badly. And to make things worse for her, she had power packed performers like Sidharth, Rashami and now Iqbal opposite her. (Btw, we are not saying this because we want to prove our favorites better, but its a fact that JB was the most inexperienced and weakest performer among the original leads, even she herself has confessed in her interviews that she was intimidated by the original lead and that she 'learnt' acting from him).

Anyways, all the best to her. I can only wish that she gets better roles in future which make her look subtle onscreen. Teni will definitely the worst role in her career 🥱

@bold, I wanted to post it that time only when Avika had given that interview, but didn't do it to avoid comparisons. That Lado show had similar situation where Avika's character was favoured a lot, others were ignored despite being important characters, the whole plot of the show was changed, and as a result many senior actors left the show midway. But look at Avika, at such young age she has the maturity and grace to accept that the show's altered storyline and ignorance towards important characters didn't go well with the viewers. She even indirectly accepted that extra focus on her character made others to leave the show because they were not given what they were promised, and even she feels bad about it.

Just read a post on twitter by Meghna Malik about how the brand Laado was destroyed by the makers.. JB should consider herself lucky that the actors who were made to leave the show to glorify her character (including Kunal) are not giving any statements in public and media about how they were cheated 🥱

I so wish someone like Sid shud give an interview regarding all this, it's due. This production house must realise the blunder it has done. How stupid someone can be to write such pathetic story line. I mean a 10 year old can write a better story.

This IV says it all... I felt reassured that our annoyance at her is justified in fact. Justifying this show as something which handled bigamy with grace and saying that her risk paid off handsomely and how people loved her is peaks of delusion...( yes some might have loved her but majority didn't)

How is it right that the circumstances put them into this threesome ? Shorvari could have walked out, or Teni could have. They just tried to show some nonsense illogical abrupt tracks to retain Teni all the time and also Keep Shorvari in and out for trps...The threesome deal and then a marriage breaking can not be called showing bigamy concept with grace. It's utter crap... Like it was discussed before, she doesn't wanna blame the show concept like Rohan admitted, coz it glorified her character more than anything. So obviously she'll have to side with it.

All I wanted to see is little maturity and acceptance from her that the show and her character both werent that great at some point of time, which she never will I guess!!
