Yesterday was a fast paced episode.. There was movement in the story.. And we got some insights into Barkha..
Ram Ahuja continues to be a loser and user. Yes, his despair and pain coming out in a more realistic way (the same frames helped certainly), but his complete lack of shame and self respect just astonishes me.. He has no qualms in staying in a stranger's house, taking advantage of her charity and emptying her well stocked liquor cabinet. Did he lose all sense of propriety?
He drinks 24*7, they didn't show him sleeping, I am assuming he spent the night drinking. He has a mild curiosity about his host, but doesn't care enough when she being evasive to his questions, he seems to think as long as the booze is flowing, nothing matters... He swears to return her money and move out of the house, but no idea how would he return the money if he does nothing but drinking the whole day,. When she asks where will he go, to the street, he has no answers. If he doesn't have a place to go, why did he come out of jail? He could have stayed as government's guest with no worry about food, yeah, but where will he get this unlimited booze.. Now he found the perfect place to live as he wish, or the place found him,... When Barkha give away all the booze from the house (seems, she was a heavy drinker, before Ram pushed her off and took the first claim to her liquor storage) he goes to the same bar to drink again without money, he claims he doesn't want her to pay for him again, then why did he go to the same bar, and how did the bouncers let him in... He finally breaks down when she asks why is he punishing himself, that it is not him who punishes him, but the God, and he doesn't know what he did to deserve this, he never harmed anyone and even forgiven anyone who harmed him... But I seriously have my doubts about his claim on not harming anyone, he has no conscience when it comes to taking advantage anyone monetarily (we had seen in Jodhpur party and now with Burkha), how will he even know whether his this attitude harmed anyone or not..
Barkha, is she the Amit person's wife? She had a uncomfortable and pained look when Ram asked her about her hubby.. And what did this Amit do to Ram which Ram seemingly unaware, but she feels guilty about and wants to amend for. She even goes to the extent of thinking Amit got the punishment he deserved, but Ram's suffering is undeserved. Did Amit steal Ram's music without Ram's knowledge, but if that was released in Amit's name, Ram would have been aware.. And even if Ram is unaware, that act of stealing noway responsible for Ram's current state, Ram is anyway not able to make money out of his music, what difference it makes if some of his music is stolen and made money of by others? Too much of confusion and questions, but no answers yet..
Btw, Barkha is another Anu, same attitude and manner of speaking.
And our darling Disha takes the cake, for being the not just the stone hearted daughter, but also the most illogical maroon. She is Anand Kapoor's granddaughter in every way that matters, she better change her name to Kapoor. If her behaviour of joining hands with AK and co in planning how to ensure her father going back to prison was nauseating, her behaviour with Ayaan was downright atrocious. She has no right to talk to him In the way she did, and who is she to lecture about him betraying her precious Nanaji's trust,.. She was just so irritating. I wanted to hurl a chappal on my tv screen., if she has an even a millimetre of brain in her head, she would have wondered what reason Ayaan has to defend her father, certainly not for making money... Then what else lured him to as she claims betray his bade papa and goes to the enemy camp... But no, our Disha doesn't have even one thinking cell left.
If her indirect digs at Ayaan infront of the Kapoors were annoying, her Naanji's overflowing sentiments about Ayaan and his goodness was just too OTT. Mr. Pankaj Dheer,,please come back from Mahabharat age, we want natural expressions and natural emotions, not this overdramatism. But even her Nanaji's glowing referral didn't make her think whether Ayaan might be right to defend her father. Oh, yeah, to think, she needs a working brain...
Finally Ayaan gets to know from his mom about the letter, he is braving Disha's antagonism to search for the letter in her room (in the precap). Will he get it? and what is that thing in Batkha hiding behind her which is of some significance to Ram? Let's wait & watch.
