I wanted to give a big hug to Mr, Ratnakar Shetty, popularly known as Ayaan's senior. In yesterday's take I mentioned about he being a good judge of character, he proved it again today.. Read further for details...
The episode started with AK joining the kids in planning Aarav's b'day, he suggested an alternative to Aarav's wish of celebrating his b'day in their society, trowing a party to all his friends. Aarav being the uncomplicated kid he is, doesn't understand that his grandfather actually denied his wish, he goes in happily to invite his friends..
Ayaan quite easily finds the letter, just to lose it as easily. The houseowner's wife collected it, and the houseowner was more than happy to handover it, if it is going to ensure Ram's freedom which inturn might get him his rent due ;), interesting logic indeed. Seems like hosueowner's wife is a generous lady who pays fine for unstamped letters that are addressed to someone else, ;), or it could just be a case of another blooper (the letter without stamp) ;).
Ayaan reads it and gets teary eyed, (the actor playing Ayaan is not impressive in emotional scenes). He calls up and updates his senior and both decide to take the letter for forensic test next day (glad that the makers are showing proper legal procedures here, forensic test to prove Anu's handwriting is very much needed). Ayaan is over eager to show the letter to AK and Disha, which the senior thankfully prohibits him from doing. Ayaan's astuteness is shadowed by his love for his bade papa, he still not understood that AK would go any length to ensure that Ram is kept away from kids, even to the extent of destroying the letter. Thankfully, the senior lawyer doesn't suffer from such feelings, and know exactly what kind of hatred AK has for Ram. Senior also instructs Ayaan to keep the letter safe (which our boy promptly fails to do).
Ram on the otherhand is in a mission to earn money, by approaching a music director (or company owner, not sure). Manav makes an entry while Ram is playing guitar, and Manav already prepared for Ram as he encountered Karan outside the room. Manav threatens the person who was about to hire Ram that he would cut all business ties if the murderer Ram is hired,. And as expected Ram is chucked off. A nice phone convo between Aarav and Ram where Aarav reminds him about the console, Ram is worried about how to earn enough to buy the gift, but also very happy to talk to his son. And no words for Aarav's cuteness and whispering convo.
Aarav has no hesitation in pulling his grandpa for a game of cricket, later his attention drifting to newly entered Ayaan. Ayaan offering to teach him some shots, takes him out. In the process, the letter drops from Ayaan's pocket on the floor of AK's living room. Ayaan proves his carelessness once again, even after his senior specifically telling him to keep the letter safe, he is careless enough to bring inside AK's house. But I am not really surprised, the guy has a playful tendency and lacks seriousness and the necessary experience, probably this incidence would cure of his shortcomings. And our serial makers can't do anything straightforward, they need to introduce such twists and turns, just too increase the viewers' heartbeats ;).
Manav making entry before AK encounters the letter and updates gleefully about the insult he inflicted on Ram, and the news that he ensured no music director would hire Ram. AK is happy, but not enough to forget Manav's business failures. AK updates about a invitation by another music company owner Daldani to a success party for his company's latest album. AK needles Manav about how Dadlani achieved so much success just in 4 years and suggests Manav to learn something from him. He leaves an irked Manav behind.
Ram facing more rejection from music directors. Karan giving him the brilliant idea of approaching Daldani as he is AK's competitor and won't be under the influence of AK. Ram likes the idea, but worries that he won't be able to meet Daldani as he is a big shot. Karan tells him about the party and takes responsibility for getting invite and also for hiring clothes for Ram ;). Ram is sceptical, but Karan is upbeat about the plan. ;). Two consecutive days of good work from Karan ;).
Aarav getting ready for the party in his finer clothes, these days Aarav is in one fine mood, ;), Disha not interested in attending party, as always Ayaan barges into their room and uses his manipulation skills to trick Disha into attending the party, but the stupid guy still hasn't realised about the missing letter.
Precap : Disha, Aarav and Ayaan at the party, watching in awe at Vidya Balan's entry.
Seems our serial leads are created with some extra dose of stupidity ;). Why will Ayaan lose this all important letter, when is he going to realise that it is lost? Atleast when he changes the clothes? Let's see.. Hope he gets a strong kick on his butt from his boss for this carelessness.
But I don't think the letter will remain lost for a long time. It can't be reaching the hands of other residents of Kapoor house as it will never face the light of the day after that. My guess is somehow Disha will get hold of the letter, either she will find it or some househelp will find it and give it to her as it is addressed to her. Time for Disha to know the truth...
