I haven't watched the start of the episode, and in whatever I had seen, there were glitches, but inspite of all these, it was another wonderful episode with heart melting emotions, as usual portrayed with perfection.
I started watching when Ram was entering the hospital with icecream in hand and Anu in her room trying to pull off the tubes.. What I missed is Anu's conversation wIth the nurse and then with her own conscience.. Seem that was another brilliant scene with very good arguments, (read WU). I know for sure what I would do if I am in Ram's shoes, I too would go any length for saving my beloved's life, afterall money once spent can be earned later, but life once lost is lost forever. I am not very sure what I would do if I am in Anu's shoes, I know I wouldn't want to trouble my family and spoil their future, but still if I am a mother, I would also feel I need to try everything to stay alive for my children's sake.. Very tough choice to make indeed, here Anu decides to end her life to save the future troubles for her family...
Ram's walk after he manages to escape the hospital guard's vigil was so cute, he walked with such a spring in his stride, he was just like Aarav, so adorable.. ;)
Here Anu pulls off the oxygen mask and the IV tubes, she starts getting trouble in breathing.. Ram enters in, screams for Doc and tries to put the mask back.. Ok, here is the glitch. Anu was shown multiple time before and after this scene without the mask, I don't think she is in need of continuous oxygen supply, on her right hand she has the IV tubes, I don't think there is anything that goes in through her IV without which she can't breath even for a minute. And on her left hand, a monitor is connected to the finger, this monitor is pulse oximeter, which is used for continuous monitoring of oxygen level in blood, pulse rate and BP. Removing it causes no trouble at all. Wonder what caused Anu to have that breathing trouble?
Leaving out this medical blooper, I loved Ram's reaction here.. He was unfair to the nurse, but anyone in his place would behave that way,. Wonder why the nurse was keep asking who pulled off the tubes...
Disha at home getting restless and decides to google about blood cancer. That brings back the memory from the the previous cancer attack. Disha was as usual good, more than that I loved the BG conversation she remembered, Anu saying that it is cancer at stage 1, and she will get cured with treatment, Ram claiming himself to be the 'male Savitri'. We don't get to see Ram & Anu, only hear the voices, but the voices were so full of life, there wasn't any need of the visuals.
Back to hospital, Ram taking class to Anu, loved the scene again, the dialogues were perfect, No OTT either in dialogues or in acting.. Ram saying he would die too if she tries to end her life, might sound too much, but I could relate to it, he is not telling she has to live forever, just asking the reminder of her life to spend for himself and the kids.. Fair enough, isn't it? Here, I assume some duty doc visited Anu in between the time Ram connected the mask and this scene..
The morning scene at the Ahuja house, feel so sorry for kids, loved the bonding between them and the way Disha cares for Aarav.. It was such a tender scene.. Ram busy looking for the FD, Anu made in kids names.. The responsible Disha knows where it is, a short FB about how Anu made the FDs. Loved the way Ram asked the kids permission to use the FDs, he is such a wonderful father. Aarav wanting to contribute his piggy bank savings, and the hug between Ram and Aarav was cute as well as touching..
Now the next glitch.. I don't know whether we had a leap of some days, suddenly a teary Anu is shown with a bald head & a wig at hand, then a FB (presumably during the first time treatment) of Ram convincing Anu to undergo chemo (she is reluctant as she doesn't want to lose her hair) by showing her a wig which looks exactly like her hair. Typically, the hair loss doesn't happen immediately after chemo, it takes a week or two for the hair to fall. If the scene is indeed after a week, or so, it would have been better if they had shown something to indicate it,.
From the last 10 episodes of this show, I find Gurdeep excellent in emotional scenes, she makes me feel Anu's pain every time, but I don't like her teasing (of Ram) scenes that much, seems a bit OTT At times..
Precap : Another revelation.. For all this while, Anu's BIL is behind Ram to sell his music album to him (most probably to publish in someone else' name, now Ram agreeing to it for a cost of 10L. And Anu asking Ram whether his name will be mentioned in the album. Most probably Ram would lie this time :(
