But Ram loves Anu dearly & at the moment all that mattered to him was her wish. Yes, he could've done some planning.

But you know Naj, dil toh baccha hai ji. 😳

anyhoo, nice post. Loved reading your pov :)

@Smily, I agree.. People find any means to get money.. I also understand lower middle class and all. But, they should be able to afford the rent at least. And Ram should stop being a spendthrift. I know, Mr. Kapoor isn't right. xD I just feel sorry for him. Anyways, regarding insurance. Ram, or at least Anu is educated right, from a rich family.. Insurance doesn't mean we are dying, it is a protection. Being well read, they should have gone for it...

@Sanjana, Dearie. Anu doesn't know about this coz, the guy will help Disha out of her depression AFTER Anu dies.. At least, that's what article said. But, ya, she should be more aware of family finances. And, @Harps, I understand dil being bachcha, LOL.. Still, if he was so in love with his wife, he shouldn't have had kids... Love your wife alone... Now, the kids are his responsibility right? :P I hope you aren't offended, sweets... Thanks a lot!

Sorry to butt in..
As I said many times before, grief defies logic, I can vouch for it..

Ram risking everything to fulfil Anu's wishes, doesn't mean that he doesn't love his kids or doesn't care of their welfare, it just means that he thinks he has very less time to give happiness to Anu whereas the rest of life for the kids..

Yes, it is absurd to think so.. The realisation that if his wife can die so young, anything can happen to him also, and he needs to secure his kids future would come sometime later.. After-all there is nothing more eye opening than death..

Some of the things shown in the last couple of days were absurd, but that doesn't mean that every emotion and sentiment shown in the show so-far are fake..

As for as insurance is concerned, do you think all the urban middle class educated Indians have a policy? Even if they had taken after her last cancer occurrence, her cancer relapse would not have been covered for next few years..

Probably. But, I am too overwhelmed with today's episode to still concentrate on what happened yesterday.
Ram loves his family. Sometimes, love doesn't work positively. Love makes one strong and weak. It is both good and evil. And, we got to see both. 😳
