The episode is mostly an entertaining one with lot of family bonding.. While Ahuja family is having the time of their life, Kapoor family was giving out lot of revelations about the past,,,

Let's take the revelation part first,

Anu's sister is a typical TV vamp, in real life you would see lot of siblings with jealousy and rivalry issues, but not many who outrightly hate their sibling, but as I said, here the sister is a TV vamp, can you expect anything better from her? She is holding grudges that her dad always favoured her elder sister (Anu) while growing up because Anu excelled in studies, sports, music, etc.. Now the sis feels her current favourable place with her father will be threatened if father and Anu reconciles.. I think this buildup is shown for a very particular reason.. When Anu's children comes to live with this family, their Aunt & uncle are certainly going to make their life as difficult as possible..

Now, her hubby is one who reveals more from past.. Ram's finances are is in such dire state because of Mr. Kapoor. Though Ram tried to bring out his own album, he couldn't succeed because the FIL (who owns a music company) always blocked him using his influence, and Ram is reduced to being a chorus singer / violinist for the last 18 years.. Now, I am not sure whether it is possible to completely block one's growth by the so called 'influences', but again it may be possible because not all talented people succeed in artistic world, most often one needs a mentor or lots of luck to succeed. People don't always a get a break without either of that.. Even after 18 years, Anu's father is still holding grudges, and I wonder whether Anu is aware of her father's continued vendetta against her hubby.. This Mr. Kapoor (I still didn't get his first name, so it is either FIL or Mr. Kapoor for now) is a very tough nut to crack.. He keeps the younger son-in-law well within his limits, all major business decisions are taken by the FIL and finances too are only under his control.. A smart patriarch !! Sooraj seems to be an all rounder in the Kapoor household, his attire (complete with a ever at hand white hat) indicates he is a driver, but he also finds the books in library, and decides what cheque needs to be signed for what amount ;). Basically he is a driver cum personal assistant and Mr. Kapoor seems to be valuing him a lot.. While Mr. Kapoor continues to wreck his daughter's family finances indirectly, he donates in Crores on her b'day, ironically for cancer treatment / research.. How would he feel when he comes to know that the same disease claimed his daughter's life, but his Crores were of no use...

Coming to Ahuja family, it was fun, fun and more fun.. They are one cute bunch, love to see their bonding... The story hadn't moved an inch on their part..

The first scene was a continuation of Thursday's.. Ram and kids trying to steal the violin and how he plays the violin for Anu.. Logic-wise, there was no meaning in this scene, it is just meant for some light hearted moments.. As this scene doesn't have any impact on the actual story, let's leave out the logic for now..

Aarav is a cutie pie, the way he bossed around his Dad, he is just so so adorable.. Ram and Aarav makes a great comic pair ;). Ram was extra cute while trying to convince (in vain) the kids that they are not stealing, but borrowing.. Disha trying to distract hotel staff by claiming fire alarm, too much out of logic for me, and Disha being OTT in the scene didn't help the cause.. Finally Anu realises her hubby is not seen for a while, starts looking out for him and here comes the violin playing which also brought the hotel staff ;). Ram gets pardoned by the Hotel staff for 'borrowing' the violin. Again, logic missing with how Anu gets so easily convinced to stay back for the planned 3 days.. Perhaps, subconsciously she knows this is the last time she gets to spend these fun moments with her family and wants to make most out of these stolen moments? But still...

We finally get to see Anu thinking about how her kids will suffer without her... Something I wanted to see for the whole of last week... A realistic feeling from a mother.. And it was done just perfectly without any OTT emotions.. The beauty of this couple Ram- Anu is when one feels down, other strives to cheer-up.. When Anu asks Ram to promise her to take care of her kids, Ram asks her who will take care of him... Anu being a normal wife and NOT a Mahaanta BT wife, does not ask him to find another wife.. Oops, thank god for small mercies (and non BT makers ;) )

Ok, honestly when I seen Anu's b'day celebration during this short vacation time, I really felt it is too cliched.. But, it was a well made and well enacted scene starting from kids interrupting Ram's surprise to the actual surprise.. Loved Ram's funny dialogues throughout the scene. And everyone's expression when the surprise was revealed.. But alas, Anu has to spoil this moment for Ram by mentioning about it being her 'last' b'day.. They had shown Ram stiffening hearing her say it, would have loved to see the episode ending on the pained face of Ram..

Precap : Ram in suit.. And seems he is becoming a spendthrift,.. Let's wait and watch...
