Remo is like little moves and repeat but clean
rajiv is like too much of energy, new movers and entertaining a lot soo its much better

Mihir, you got it all wrong!! Remo is originally from Kerala, so a malayali, but he spent his school years in Gujarat since his father was stationed there as a Federal employee..

Marzi is Parsi, so not a Gujju except that they came to Gujarat from Persia..

Now Dharmesh -- isnt he a Marathi?? That's what I remember reading during DID2 days, that he is originally a Marathi but grew up in Gujarat!!

Now Rajeev might be Gujju, I am not sure though.. Jay is also a Gujju.. Dunno about Shweta.. Dada is Bengali.. Where is Geeta from??

I loved their performance.. In my eyes Rajeev is power packed and Remo is polished!! So Rajeev dances with super energy while Remo dances with super style.. Both are unique in their own ways... One thing I admire is that they come across as quite stylish and professional... 😃

I think you're right Akanna. I remember Dharmesh originally as a Marathi as well, but he was brought up and lived in Gujarat, hence why he knows Guju.

Rajeev and Jay are definitely Guju, and Remo and Marzi are not.

Isn't Geeta Punjabi? I remember her saying something about Punjabis before... I could be totally wrong though. 😆 I think Shweta is Marathi.

Remo was born in kerala for sure but he did and bring his life up in baroda so at all its Gujju only only born and brought up in kerala

about Marzi is like he is parsi i know but his as all parsi speeks gujju soo but i dont know about his life at all........

About D sir 😛 he is also like same of remo sir but he is not from kerala he is from mumbai i guss but not sure but he was born and up in life in baroda only and now having classes there also even prince also DID 1 was also same place but he is from Baroda only full.

And last about Rajiv is that he is from i dont know that but many times thay have said that "ticket to gujarat" so he might be of my place and have seen him talking in gujju many times here on show so he is gujju for sure

Soo in conc. that Rajiv,price,dsir,marzi ,remo are gujju after all

I always wondered where she is from... 😃 Never heard her talking in Punjabi or understanding Punjabi - remember in DID1 Rakhee was better in Punjabi than Hindi, but Geeta never stepped in to be a translator.. Remo did that for Paulson though..

Remo's parents are from Kerala!! So in that aspect he is originally a Keralite!! The same way Jai Kumar Nair is - grew up in Mumbai but his parents are from Kerala!! Remo's original name is Ramesh Gopi, and this is a typical mallu name - the last name is common in Kerala!! Same as Nair which is a caste name too like Menon, Pillai, etc.. And I also remember one of Remo's interview where he was asked since he is from Kerala, how he decided to do a movie in Bengali, or something like that..

If speaking Gujju means one will be labeled a Gujju, lol, what can I say?? There are many Gujju, Punjabi, Sindhi, Bengali, etc folks settled in Kerala and they all speak Malayalam the same way like any other mallu, but I dont think they will be called mallus!! Many actresses in many regional films are from other states but cannot be labeled as locals in the language they do most of their roles! Same for many in Bollywood - all of them should be labeled as Marathi since they all either grew up in Mumbai or settled in Mumbai for many years!!!

about binny she is punjabi and now bcoz of her father job she is in gujarat so she is after all a gujju only

You meant region not religion right? 😊 Why, because many people talk in terms of regions so I would like to know... 😊

If someone living in Gujarat is a Gujju, then all of DID folks are currently Marathi since they all live in Mumbai now!!! It doesnt matter whether one is liked or hated, but their origin doesnt have to change accordingly..

In your logic, every single desi living in the US will be American, everyone living in UK would be British, and so on!!!! I wonder how many desis will like that and agree to it!!!!
