i was thinking a show based on army/navy/airforce would be a good option for rajat/mughda... like they join as cadets or something... but rajat will have to go for a haircut :) and lot of scope for action and romance too...

Well i love to see rajat & mugdha is period dramas. Its a refreshment to see these dramas because they are different from the modern day saas bahu dramas where all the time heavy make up, stupid enemity, and marriage divorces are shown. Well as you said that rajat will be stuck with this image if he continue doing period dramas. So my opinion is that he shd go with the period dramas as they are his trademark but to prove himself a good and versatile actor he should do a modern drama as well. And he can keep his hair long in modern drama as well as many guys like to keep long hair and rajat looks nice in long hair. Remember his Kolkata dance, he is wearing modern clothes and have long hair but still he was looking really cool. And to be very frank i dont think he would look nice in short hair. I have seen his childhood pics as well as clippings of his role in Sai baba, he was not looking good in those. This is my opinion.

As far as Mugdha is concerned, i love to see her too in historical shows. She look awesome in ghagras, and old kind of outfits, like the one which wear in her dako style. She look beautiful in that too. Mugdha complement rajat; i think they too are incomplete without each other. I think like rajat if mugdha also go for a modern drama then there would be not much difference in her and other actors because then there would be same kind of dressing, make up and story line. But again to prove herself she can do one or two modern serials but at the same time they should both do a historical serial for us because we love to see them in historical serials, old age outfits, sets, sword fighting & horse riding etc

And if rajat-Mugdha's fans like to see them in period dramas then there's no problem in doing that. Because actors need their fans support and it is their period dramas which gave them identity as well they will always be different in these. Now did you see that Hiten-Gauri's fans are getting inactive because they are not doing any new and different serial but are acting only in Kyunki, even though they dont have any special storyline in it to show their acting skills. Kutumb had a different story line thats why it gained a lot of popularity but in kyunki they are there just for the sake of being in the show to say that hiten-gauri; everybody's heart throb are there......
