Woohoo! Another case with the mystery being unsolved in the first episode! Now I have got something to keep me busy throughout Sunday although I've got heck load of other things to even make breathing a tough task. Anyway. Forget it.
What an amazing episode yet again! The social issues which are being picked up and portrayed onscreen is so perfectly done. Totally love it.
The issue which was picked up today was such a heart wrenching one & also the sad truth of this society. There are many children who become victims to these crimes but sadly, only a handful of those criminals face the law.
"Dev jahaan jahaan jaata hai, wahaan koi na koi apni jaan gawaa baithta hai."
So just as Dev reaches the school, Amit Sir commits suicide. Quite strange, isn't it?
It's just not with the suicide. The case at hand has deep roots to it and Dev's gonna pluck them all out of the dark earth.
Amit's wife doesn't seem to be that innocent as she pretends to be. Firstly, she didn't tell the fact that Amit showed him what the blackmailer sent him. Secondly, she was planning to leave her house which Dev accurately senses. Thirdly, she says her wedding was on a smooth sail whereas her expressions let out some other story. This lady cannot be trusted.
On the other hand, we have Tilak who knows a lot of things but has been shushed from letting out any information. Tilak's elder brother is also a person on whom my detective eyes are set on. He doesn't look so innocent either.
Gaurav and that other kid (whose mom was busy feeding him) look like the victims of Amit Sir. There maybe more though. But the other kid's parents seem to know the truth which makes their son's back hurt. God knows what's keeping them from letting it out.
Whereas Meera is out there using Ouija boards to contact spirits. She seems to be quite a professional in her work. Dev saw her & somewhat believed it all to be true. But then disposed his thoughts and considered it all to be staged.
Dev & Zohra Appa's scene were quite a laugh in the beginning today. And also, my Madhubala (Dev's cat) made an appearance too! Love how Zohra Appa loves Dev as his own son & Dev respects for her as much too, just lacks showing his feelings to anyone at present.
Avi has also started getting close to Dev, which was so adorable to see. The part where he hugs Dev & Dev reciprocates by caressing his hair.. literally melted my heart.
Lastly, Dev & Mehak's cute little moment while waiting for Swami ji was so sweet to watch. Swami ji is another person about whom I'm interested to know more because he was the only person Dev cared for so much before Mehak happened.
It was a wholesome watch tonight. Looking forward to the case being solved tomorrow.
