Sony Entertainment Television Asia will be axing two fictions in April, BizAsia can confirm.

The channel, which is reworking its strategy and revamping its schedule, will be ending Kehta Hain Dil...Jee Le Zara' and Desh Ki Beti...Nandini' due to low viewing figures on Thursday 24th April. The reality TV show Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega' will take the Monday to Thursday at 21:00 slot once the two shows end.

Whilst both shows will remain on-air until end of April, the channel is also making other schedule tweaks. The popular Bade Ache Lagte Hain' will remain on-air despite rumours of it being axed. The show will, however broadcast only Monday - Wednesday. Ek Nayi Pehchaan' will run for 60-minutes every Monday in April, while Maharana Pratap' will air for 60-minutes on Thursdays.

It is not fair of Sony to do this for DKBN as the serial as good as ek nayi pechaan --- given time this serial will do very well---

Have to say Rafi Malik is doing a fantastic job in the last few episodes --- Considering he is a newcomer to the industry he will certainly make it to the top & all the best to him ---

You are so right Sarah! Just when things started getting interesting they decide to end the show. How cruel is that?!! Why couldn't they show scenes like this in the beginning?!! Will miss this couple a lot. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

About Rafi Malik: I am a huge fan! He's so cute and talented! I know he'll go a long way. Hope we won't have to wait too long before we can see him in another show. Wish him and Keerti all the best in the future. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Funny coz the channel head said not to believe those rumors when news spread a few months ago , that show going off air in April and now it is?๐Ÿ˜•

Anyway its only Raj Badhan confirming it ...I didnt see any official confirmation from Sony yet supporting his statement. But normally Raj news is often true.
If this is true, SONY should stop not only the mentioned two but the rest as well. as they are performaing no better than these two...or perhaps just a bit more but not significant high numbers.
Channel should just stick to crime, CID, reality shows that seems to work well for them. Thier forte is not in drama serials at all except for one long running serial which has exhausted all avenues and still on air, god knows for what reason.?
Besides this, I say again, the producer and the channel have permanent amensia for they have forgotten the original concept of - Nandini. There seems to be no interaction bet channel and PH to stay on focus on political based concept. Each is on its own dreamland and the story has reached a point beyond any redemption. Many people introduced in the serial went missing..just vanished without any trace. Perhapd GD killed them off๐Ÿ˜†
There were so many current issues, messages they could have tackled and passed through this serial on politcs but they failed miserably.
Really feel shortchanged ...that is being deceived into watching something that was promised but not delivered.
Harsh this may sound, but reality is they had this coming a long time but they keep ignoring the danger alerts and never paid any heed to the miserable TRPSs.
I feel sorry for the actors though. Keerti, Rafi and the rest are doing what they have been told. What else can they do?

This is sad, because the story line could be so great with lot of problems and issues that Nandini oculd solve:
women place in the society, bribes, family problems, job problems, castes problems and so on

But, hope to see Keerti in a new show soon she deserves that, because she is very talented

I sincerely hope that the TRP's pick up & the serial continues because Keerti & Rafi certainly deserve it -- & the show is a lot better than some of the other shows which have been running for so LONG & have reached they dead end a long time ago but are still running --so am not sure why the channel is thinking of removing Nandini when it has hardly had time to establish itself ---

Couldn't agree with you more. Rajveer aka Rafi is blooming in acting and expressions during the course of this past month and its a shame that now the show has to end.

Keerti is another story and perhaps needs many other shows to ACT.?
