CHAPTER 3
She moved away but was shocked, the cloth which she used to cover herself was being pulled back and something stopped her from continuing. She turned back with mixed feeling of irritation and shock on her face.
"What's wrong with you ... Uday huh?" She screamed looking at him. Uday's face got brighten up with the usual smirk; his smirk deepened watching the colors on her face. He came close to her and pointed at some bushes near with rocky wall of waterfall, a piece of cloth (which she was wearing with a chunni covering her upper region above abdomen with a bare waist) was struck across the bushes. She didn't know how many times she regretted for her words to go back, her face fumed with embaracement. Uday was amused and astonished to see her like this, every moment with her made him more impatient and intrigued towards her. To him, she was like a mystery, a maze in which he was getting lost, a deep and ravishing river which he couldn't resist drowning in. He moved his left hand closer to her face, caressing her check and right hand toward her waist pulling her closer towards him.
"I didn't know you got addicted towards me in the first meeting, already thinking about me ... beautiful". Uday said smilingly, pulling strands of her wet hair from her face and turning his smile into a cute smirk. Nandani felt a wild shiver across her body; she was confused at the crazy reaction of her body by the touch of a stranger. She was unconsciously loosening herself with every touch on her body. She was feeling so weak which was both astonishing and annoying for her. She turned away silently, moving away from the stranger who was making her heart beat fast like a deer's when he is running away from a hunter. She wanted to run away from the magnificent, mysterious stranger hunting her heart, suddenly she felt a warm grasp of a rigid hand on her wrist. She didn't dared to turn or look backwards as she knew the attractive stranger is melting her inch by inch towards a strong unknown feeling.
I (taking a small pause to recollect herself)..I have to go ... She said firmly. Uday loosened her wrist looking at her back desperately. The warm gaze on her back was making her shiver to death causing strange reaction in her body which was unknown to her as well. She paused for a second, thinking about the mysterious stranger standing behind her back.
"I will wait for you by the waterfall at night... Beautiful" He said desperately, knowing her reaction. Hearing this she came out of her thought, freed her hand with a sudden jerk and ran towards the hidden village behind the trees. Uday smiled to its extreme with a crazy smirk lurking around his face. I know you will come, I just know it and I will be waiting for you. He thought aloud moving his hand wildly across his hairs, looking at her back until she vanished behind thick trees.
Nandani didn't dared to look back, all she could think of was running from the charming stranger taking hold of her heart. She stopped after running out of breath and leaned across a tree trying to calm her heavy breath and thinking about the events happened with her few moments ago. She was impressed by the charming stranger's strength; no one ever could take a dagger from her hold in the divertissements of the fair in their village. At the same time, she was annoyed at the devilish smirk always lurking around his face, even the slightest sight of it made her annoyed and irritated. She decided not to think about him but... could she? A thought came across her mind as she walked in the village.
Vijay was closely watching the whole scenerio and was stunned to see the arrogant prince turning into Romeo for a girl; he couldn't believe his own eyes. He patted his head, trying to awake up from his astonishing dream. He saw Uday bending down and picking up clothes from the ground. Vijay reached him and placed his and on Uday's shoulder.
"Uday... are you Okay" Vijay asked trying to act worried. Uday, wraping blouse and choli ( worn by those people), stood up and smirk at him.
Uday(smirking) : "More than I will ever be".
Vijay(smirking): What was that, a loin falling for a lamb ?
Uday just smiled.
Vijay: What about Princess Manyata, you know, you have been engaged to her?
Uday: She is dead don't you know and I won't wanna to marry a dead princess...(smiling)... plus I think I just found my princess.
Vijay(worrying): What about your Family, Uday do you think they will accept her?
Uday: I am the king and NObody defys orders of a king.
Vijay(smiling): I think somebody is here, who is fearless enough to kill the king (smiling). Do you think she will come.
Uday looked at him in the eye, he knew what he was hinting, smiled a bit and turned around. Vijay could clearly seriousness in his eyes.
Uday: I just know she will... (seriously). And you really think any girl can resist the charm of the handsome prince of Jaigard, something tells me, she will come (pause)... And I will wait for her.
Uday picked her folded clothes and carefully fitted them into a bad or sack made of orange strong fabric. Vijay thought for a second and then said with a thoughtful look on his face.
Vijay: Why did you lied to her? Why didn't you told her that you are the Yuvraj of Jaigard? She would have shown respect and would never have dared to pull a dagger across your neck, if she knew that you are the Yuvraj.
Uday(calmly): Your Question has answer in it.
Vijay(confused): I don't get it.
Uday: It's simple, my friend. If she would have known who I am, she wouldn't have been herself and I want to see every part of her, her everything inspires me , makes me impatient and crave for her, I like her the way she is , her anger, valor, beauty, nature , everything about her is so pure and I don't wanna see fear in her eyes, those intoxicating eyes.
He smiled heartily and went back towards the royal tent followed by Vijay. Vijay was astonished to see his reaction.
Nandani was restless in her bed all she could think of was the stranger she meet at the waterfall. It was like the cold and calm water of the waterfall was making her soul impatient. She was lying on a plain mattress made with straws placed neatly on clean ground of her cottage, wearing a plain pink blouse with a white choli and black thread with a silver pedant around her neck and a silver payal ,a footwear(was a gift from Jaya), with net chunni covered around her waist toward her head. Even in simplicity, she was looking more radiant than any princess in the area. She got up and took a matka (pot made of mud and water) and went straight for the well.
"An arrogant prince on his knees begging for the love of a commoner" Vijay teased uday on their way back to the royal tent.
Uday smirked and said "I am Yuvraj Udayveer Singh, I don't beg, I fight for what I want and attained it, rightfully." Vijay smiled a bit at his reaction and replied softly "She is not a thing you can attain nor like another commoner who will bend down on your command; something tells me she is complicated then she feels, She is like a competition for you with equal pride and valour, may be even more wild" ,he stops and looks at the fresh scars on his arms. Uday smirks looking at the scars with blood flowing out of them drop by drop. He recalls the scene by the waterfall.
(recalling)
"Beauties like you should not roam around here in the forest. Aren't you afraid of animals? He said giving a wild smirk.
"The only creatures I am afraid of are the monsters hidden in the form of humans". She replied detest fully. "Is that so?" Uday came near her, held her waist tightly and pinned her toward the rocky wall near the waterfall .Nandani tried her to get rid of him even scratched her nails across his arms but all in vain. The more she tries to get away the more he tightens his grip across his waist and moved his face towards her. At this Nandani grabbed a dagger from his waist and pulled it across his neck.
Beawaaare...!! I am Nandani Kumari who is not scared of anyone, anything, if you tried to come near me ... I will KILL YOU. She said in a threatening tone. Uday was shocked to see her valor as he had never seen a girl with such bravery and beauty. He tried to take the dagger from her hand placing his hand on hers and holding her waist with the other but her resistance was shocking yet intriguing for him. He was amused to see such beauty with such resistance and bravery.

He smiled remembering the sweet and sour memories and shocking her face in pleasure. Uday thought out aloud "My Jungli billi". Vijay could feel deep and intense love in his eyes which sooths him as well as scares him. He knew Uday from his childhood. He never gave up for something he wants, always fought for the he wants and if he couldn't gets it, he destories it. It was difficult for him to decide whether he was worried about Uday's cravings or if something about Nandani worried him. "Is this beginning of happy love story or rise of something even greater and intense than a simple love story." He thought worriedly.
Precap: It's the same as before.
I have updated the 3rd chapter of the series although I wanted to add more in this chapter but lets call quits for today. Will post the next chapter soon. Sorry, if I made any mistake writing the story though you can always give your remarks and advices.
