Story ahead

I was thinking about the precap and possible scenarios for taking the story forward. And I feel that the only way Akbar can get Jodha and Salim on his side and eliminate Anarkali is if he reaches out to them as the husband and father respectively. As long as he tries to get these two to understand him against Anar as an emperor, he will be unsuccessful.



Right now both Jodha and Salim are not able to look beyond Anarkali and what they think as injustice to her. What Akbar needs to do is show these two the injustice that will happen with Maan Bai if they continue their rebellion. Akbar should get both Jodha and Salim in the same room. Then should tell them that they can have Anar as the bahu and wife after they perform a couple of tasks. He should then ask Maan Bai to enter and stand in front of Jodha. He should then remind Jodha what awaits her whose engagement is broken. Of the insult that she is going to face and what a Rajput princess does on that occasion.

Then he should ask Bagawan Das, his wife and Maan Singh to enter the room. He should give a sword to Jodha and ask her to cut their head off because Amer will fight with Agra for their respect and pride. Amer maybe strong, but Agra is stronger. Both Bhagwan Das and Maan Singh are sure to die along with millions of people from both Amer and Agra. He should then say that instead of all those people dying, it would be better if she herself cut off their heads.

He should then give a sword to Salim. Tell him that he had thought that he was making a decision about his son's life thinking about his(Salim's) bright future. That he thought his son would respect his father's promise and wishes. Since Salim is not going to marry Maan and make her Mallika e hind, he(Akbar) can no longer live. Turn towards Maan and ask for her forgiveness saying that he is very sorry that he has hurt her. And if possible she should forgive him.

The cherry on top will be if Maan pulls out her knife and cuts her wrists then and there saying that she loves Salim very much. And she never wants to be the thorn on his path. And she is ready to give her life for him as she is the obstacle right now between him and his happiness. She has to remind him of his promise to her and say that she frees him from his word to her.

This will shock both Jodha and Salim back to reality. And reduce Anarkali to the maid she is. Salim has to see Akbar saying sorry to Maan. Both Jodha and Salim should see that Akbar did not make any unjust decision. That he was being as just as possible. That sitting on that throne he had to think of what is right for the well-being of the nation rather than just one person. This is the only way the makers can bring the story to logical path.

I am not sure that salim and jodha will agree to this emotional blackmail tactics

@Myviewprem, my prediction of the story ahead was based on the characters as shown in the series so far. And I still stand by this story. The reason is how Jodha and Salim have viewed Anarkali so far. For Jodha she was this innocent girl who was punished for no mistake of her own. What Jodha needs to be shown is that Maan Bai is the real victim here not Anarkali. Maan Bai didn't start the talks of marriage, Jodha did. And Jodha needs to be reminded of that. Akbar has to tell her that it was you who came up with the idea of Salim marrying Maan Bai. It was you who told me that Salim has chosen Maan Bai to be his first wife and Mallika e hind. He has to bring the reason of the current happenings to herself. He has to remind her who she is and what she is about to do to Maan Bai.

Maan Bai has to question Salim what right he had to ruin her life. She has to question him saying why did you say YES to marrying me and making me Mallika e hind when Akbar asked you in the court in front of everyone when you had no such intentions. Why didn't you say NO. Why did you go through the engagement ceremony making a promise. She has to make him acknowledge that he was marrying her ONLY on Anar's say so. Then ask him if Anar valued her self respect and integrity so much, what right did she have to ruin my self respect and integrity. What had I done to her that she ruined my life so badly. And today on her say so if you are ready to ruin another woman's life that she is dying of shame, what will you do next. And any person who can intentionally ruin another person is neither innocent nor right.

Both Akbar and Maan have to bring the truths that is currently hidden to light and question their claims to being just and right. Only then will these two come to their senses.

On the other hand, the makers may continue to transform Anarkali as the household diety of Mughals. 😆 😆 where both Jodha and Salim are shown to start their day by worshiping her. 😆 😆
