Just now I saw vote appeal post from Aryan's Instagram account. So perhaps it is solved now. Hope it won't effect his votes.
One thing I do not like so much... Celebs made video messages to support their favorite. I know it's their favorite and you can't influence that. But celebs influence people too. So I have a feeling this is not so good for Aryan.
Geeta mam, Ranveer Singh have made videos for Bir. Tiger for Amardeep. I haven't seen anything for Aryan. And since I like his dance I wish this for him too.
Now I am getting annoyed too with the emotional tag for Bir. Geeta mam said (my Hindi is not fantastic but I think she said) what is so special / sweet of Bir that he loves his mom so much... Like what..? The other contestants don't love their mom because they didn't bring a mom saree angle into the mix? I would rather see people like Geeta mam stick to dance and not put it on emotions. Because Bir is an excellent dancer and we should keep it on Dance, translation of that dance in emotions but don't use the emotional sympathy card. It is not justice to Bir anyway.
I am not criticizing anyone but the whole dance + has been a show piece and promo for Bir ...the contestant who came in from nowhere. From beginning to end, he has been projected as the star. It could also be because Remo has an emotional connection with Bir. His struggle.
Look at every episode.
This maybe all right from the producer point of view, but the way the contestants cry when they get selected in audition round and top 12, 8, 4.. That emotion cannot be faked. They were just overwhelmed. It comes because dance is their life. They should not be relegated to show.piece or supporting act to someone the main.person's.of show got already decided, this is our man.
I love Remo and Punit toh, it is his charge, what to say about him, and hv immense faith.in their goodness and judgement. Plus if not for them, the show would not be. But I think from viewers and contestants view, it is not fair. The show is a competition and competiton means equal. Luckily the contestants seem to be grateful that at least they are coming in the show. Remo and Punit are like their loving Papa who just has his favourite. So never mind we will do best we can. Types. Aryan is funny. He knows projecting himself will help him but will he do? No. Lol! He is like "yeh mer ko aata hi nahin, toh main kya karoon".? I feel if people pressurize him any more, then he will start crying any moment.
(In this respect he is like Raaghav. Remember, Terence said he is an artist, you can offer him any amount of money, he will only do if his soul wants to. Money be damned. Success and fame be damned.
For Aryan I think the biggest moment of Dance + came when Remo, who doesn't lie) took the trouble to tell him that he can guarantee that Aryan is one of those dancers who will achieve success long after this show ends and likely sit in a judges panel in the future. You could see how happy those words made him. His face lit up. That was so sweet of Remo considering Bir is his fave. It was one of those Remo things. A cut above the rest.
Only thing he can do is canvass quietly thru personally made videos where he shares his dreams and his desire to win and just asks for votes giving his vote number, and shows his talent...persons wjo like his dance and I'm sure there are huge number of hip hoppers in India, they will vote. Because honestly, in the last episode (which incidentally is not being shown any.longer, that Lip Sing is being shown in all its TV slots!! He was as good or better than Bir.
Im just grateful to Farah when she called the fast forward and normal mode act the best act she had ever seen...she gave huge boost to Aryan..being a noted choreographer. And then D team turned on the heat in the last episode, where Aryan was on fire. That piece where he performed impromptu hip hop and krumping for Tiger showed," TALK OR NO TALK, WHERE MY DANCE IS CONCERNED, THIS IS ME, TRY AND BEAT ME. "
That lil segment he did on his own was UNREAL. The people who I was with who were watching were like, "whaaat".?
