Sanam is a an Arabic word word meaning IDOL. It's loosely used in Urdu to refer to a lover or a beloved. It does not, however, have any Sanskrit roots. 😊

If his name is Sanampreet, and according to him his name means beloved, then what does his actual name mean? Beloved Love (Preet meaning love). Yeh kaisa naam hai yaar? 😕
