All I am saying is you cannot say reservations are taking away jobs from talented people and there is no one to take the job in the same breath. If there are no teachers, whose responsibility is to change that? is it not govt's duty?

We have more than enough people. More institutes, more skilled graduates in professional courses. And everyone wants job accordingly.
Its not that there arent enough jobs, there arent enough jobs of the kind that these graduates want. No one can be blamed here but this topic will open up a whole new discussion.

My cousin sis attended CMC Vellore. She ranked in the top 10 all-India after written exams and interviews. Only 20% of the seats were for brilliant aspiring doctors in her category. The rest was reserved for christians and other castes. 80% for that lot!

IITs too have reservations. So now, even though there are lots of IITs, the brilliant students dont always make it to the top IITs which they might have otherwise because many of those seats are reserved. These brilliant kids have to look at lesser IITs, or at non-IITs.

as it turns out, the reservation types struggle through college. Of course, they let everyone graduate at CMC Vellore.... but you wouldn't trust your life to them if it came down to it.

@bold I meant to say lower compared to general category students. Apologies for the mistake. I would never say that they are not passing or their score is less.

I do feel bad for your cousin. Students should not have to fight for good quality education. How many seats were available in total?

BTW the only solution to this is having more colleges. Removing reservation is not the solution.

ok, let's even go with this latest from you. SO now you accept that reservation types get in with lower marks. And you don't think that's unfair to the kids who got higher marks but cant get in ? And can we really get the economy going with low-calibre owaisi and lalu type graduates?

so we should have more schools and colleges? That's like saying we should have apple pie! Point is we haven't exacly found kuber ka dhan yet, so we dont have all the schools and colleges with the funding they need. You do know that we dont have infinite resources to work with, dont you?

We also had 60+ years of low-growth socialist muslim-appeasement policies that kept us backward. So we have a lot of work to catch up, and Modi is doing a great job there. Excellent job in fact. Better than your owaisi pappu bannerji types.

same old chest-beating rona dhona. Point is the nazis and hitler started out claiming to be socialists. Once they grabbed power, they morphed into pure evil... which is the trouble with socialists the world over, whether in china or russia. They are an intolerant bunch and prone to violence to get their way. Just look at the owaisi being a socialist for the muslim masses and threatening other communities.

In fact, it is the minority bloc leaders who are most like hitler- wanting socialism and fake appeasement-oriented secularism so they can grab state resources while hating upon the majority community and talking about wiping hindusim off. Nazis in the making!
