From 2019 -2024 BJP did very little to Andhra Pradesh.

Modi put fear of ED IT and what not in Babu's mind and forcibly alligned with TDP in Andhra. Today because of Andhra he has a chance of forming govt at the centre and his third term as PM.

If BJP contested alone in 2024 they would have got less than what they got in 2019.

It was introduced in 1969 to please North Eastern and Border State population, separatists were increasing and we were already facing issues with China

Special Status is basically financial help to States, for example in Health scheme center will pay for 60% and State will pay 40% but those states who have special status have to pay 10% and center pays 90%

Ty. I did know not all this.

But my question remains. What does special status give to AP per the constitution. I am sure there might be special provisions ..right ? Can’t be just a title.

I sincerely believe Naidu and Modiji are more aligned in their views as I am an admirer of Naidu as a reformer. Not just for NDA support tbh.

And yes it makes sense to have some extra support for state for reasons you mentioned above.
