Govt can't sell or lease the land unless it's their, they can act as middleman between the buyer and seller if the land is not there but they won't pay for being a middlemen to people, if they have overtaken the Land then they should compensate

your missing main point . The place where once temple was built was being occupied by locals - illegal or legal is different question but if normal people have been living and making livelihood for decades and generations , and were ready to give the land for temple they have to compensated - its plan and simple . If compensation was promised and someone believed in you and cause and kept their trust and faith on you the promise has to be kept .

When it comes to economic development, wealth creation and welfare economics I am citing the examples of South Indian states not the BIMARU states + Bengal. In South Indian states BJP has never been in power they did not and they do not have the likes of Modi or the parties like BJP. Karnataka it was till recently it was either Congres or one of the splinter parties of emergency era. Rest of the South Indian states it is mostly regional parties or congress,

As for the charts on GDP BJP tells half truths. They will conceal the data of percapita income inflation and just show the GDP charts and I have seen and read enough no of detailed analyses on GDP

Bottom line is I am not seeing the logic behind the Modi is the need of the hour sentiment especially when Southern half of the country is doing very well without BJP or Modi.

it's misleading to club all the southern states as one and compare with north, because performance across south has not been unform. The economy of Tamil Nadu for example has been different from that of Kerala which has been different from those of Andhra and Karnataka. Kerala on the other hand has had a sizeable portion of it's workers work overseas and in other states- because the state could not create enough jobs. How's that for state policy? Large portions of Andhra are still backward...

Second, for the most part, since 1967, states like Tamil Nadu have been ruled by other parties, not congress. Incidentally the Bimaru states have been ruled by congress and it's allies in UPA for the most part- the yadavs and lalus. Congress has decimated growth wherever it has gone fulfilling it's freebies promises and it's need to run scams for personal enrichment. Happening now in Karnataka and earlier in Punjab when they ran up deficits.

Third, and very importantly, states like Tamil Nadu have a history of heaving made early investments in healthcare and education which are paying off today. Not sure how much of that was foresight and how much lack of other options then. Anyway, they can actually afford some of the welfare spending they have now. These states would have ended up as disasters if they had spent on welfare instead of healthcare and education then, much like the bimaru states. Healthcare and education happen to be investment spending, something BJP knows a thing or two about... though it's focus so far has been on mostly infrastructure (and a bit on education-oriented) investment spending.

Around the time of the agricultural revolution, Punjab spent on agriculture. They did well then... but then never diversified or worked on better farming techniques. They kept on arbitraging the free water, electricity aspects. And they kept running up deficits. Combined with the fact they are a border state with drug inflow, they are a special case.

Wes Bengal is a clear example of how disastrous it is to pursue welfare economies. Especially for a country with scarce resources. We really cant afford more of the same nation-wide, even a bit of it. The federal deficit is just about manageable, as iare the credit ratings and the rupee. With increased populist spending, these would be in the dog-house.

let's develop first and then engage in welfare spending. Norway and other countries with rich human indices first found oil money, then came up with welfare programs. They have so much money they cant find enough programs to spend on!

coming back to Modi, they refrained from wasteful populist spending which ruling parties engage in before elections to win. His budget was conservative. While it may have showed confidence in his winning the elections, it also shows he approached his job with the fiscal discipline we need. Unlike the Pappus of the world who think tax payer money is theirs to loot, Modi has been careful to not bust our budget. For that alone and for his focus on capex and defense spending, we need to have him around. We cant have a weak PM who gives in to populist demands from all sides.

I stand behind the "gdp relative to other countries" statistics I mentioned earlier. The best way to compare performance is against other countries, and that's where it becomes apparent that NDA outperforms, Congress underperforms.

Imagine the harassment, there's a pereon from SC community in US who accused his manager of caste based bias only because bichara manager is an OC and the guy wasn't given promotion obviously due to performance related issues.

This really sucks

Koi soln to nikaalna padega warna it'll get out of hands, har state mein reservations shuru ho gaye then skilled people milenge kaha se πŸ™„

Germany mein FoE hai, his videos are as per the German law, koi use nahi hoga. Ulta 7-8 months tak aur articles aa jayenge about dictatorship in India.

Plus BJP uses his videos to act as a victim, same thing they did with Zubair. Action lene ko bahut pehle le sakte hain. We've seen Mamata, Cong, Uddhav, DMK govt throwing so many SM influencers youtubers in jail for months.

Mamata ne toh ek meme share karne pe professor ko jail mein dalwa dia tha.

But BJP likes to milk these issues, ki "dekho haay haay, humare against foreign narratives ban rahe hain, if you don't vote for us they'll target you"

WB mein till date yahi rona machaya hua hai, Mamata ke workers unleash hell after every election. You are the party in power, chahe toh army bhej ke atleast security toh de hi sakte hain. But fir victim kaise play karenge.

UP has also given a mandate which is not in favour of the ruling govt, par waha aisa koi tamasha nahi dikh raha.

The number of murders and rapes that happened in WB after last elections could have easily been controlled or atleast punished. Par dekhlo. Even this time they are just requesting the governor to come and inspect the violence that has happened. Action = 0.

Sorry, went on a rant.
