yesterday was the date, when lord took kurum Avtar, it was an auspicious day plus the time they chose for Praanpratishtha was the time lord chose to take Ram avtar and if you are waiting for temple to complete then it's going to take 7-10 years, Congress govt did the Praanpratishtha in somnath 11 years before it was completed so it was nothing new, and people will visit Ayodhya when they want to, Ayodhya has seen more 3.5 crore visitors in last 2 years, when temple was still under construction, the only thing which is changing is that now they can worship at the temple, Garbhgriha is the main place in any temple and it is fully ready so you can do the Praanpratishtha after Garbhgriha is ready, even our colony 's temple is being constructed but we still do worship there as Garbhgriha is ready and Praanpratishtha has been done so this is very common thing, I don't know what they got by opposing this but their opposition was totally baseless
Speaking of Kurum avatar (I'm assuming you mean Kurma, the turtle avatar during samudra manthan?), I noticed that the list of Vishnu avatars around the murty was "Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Kalki". I thought it interesting that they picked this list (which was the first list of avatars I ever read about), as opposed to the 24 avatar lists that include figures like Rishi Kapila, Vyasa & so on, or an alternate list that drops Buddha and inserts Balarama.
By 7-10 years, you mean 7-10 years from when construction started, right? Around 2020? B'cos if you mean 7-10 years from now, that would be tremendously long. Any idea what % of the 🛕 is complete as of this day?
I mean 7-10 years from this day, the ground floor where Garbhgriha is and the first floor is completed, temple will have 3 floors and there will be 7 more temples in the premises of Ram temple so it will take time to complete the work.

The 4 Shankaracharyas, who advocated this Ram Navami date, are "sudden religious people" in your book? I myself don't consider them infallible, but I'd have thought that faith is all they do
From what I understand, the elections will be in the April-May timeframe, when the Election Commission will have an embargo on political candidates attending such high profile religious events, so had it been done then, it would have been what it was, but sans the leaders and some of the celebrities. Note that I don't have a problem w/ the PM or others being there: it's just that if it's supposed to be one particular date, such as Ram Navami, as recommended by the Shankaracharyas, then I don't support moving it just so that it's outside the election window

Even if that hasn't happened none of us were going to give vote to congress, they need to accept the fact, we don't believe on congress and it's policies, in my lifetime congress isn't getting any votes from me, it will always be BJP
Congress is a spent force, and fast becoming a regional party. I'm not a voter in India, but if I were, I'd be looking at Ekam Sanatan Bharat, a party started almost a year ago. If for no other reason, b'cos one party rule is not healthy for any country, as it starts to stagnate after a while, & I'd support any party that's committed to making India a Sanatani country
