Kishwer Merchant will soon enter Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television in a complete different avatar. In an interview she shares her experience:
How was your experience working with Crime Patrol? My experience of working with this show was superb. I love doing episodic and it surely gives me a break from the regular routine. I surely have loved playing a cop in the show and it gives me a chance to portray a complete different side of me to my fans.
How was it different for you then the first time in this show? I felt a whole lot of difference the second time. Earlier I was in a bun and uniform but this time it was civil clothes which gave it a lot more realistic feeling. Apart from the dressing, it was much comfortable working in this avatar and was much easier for me.
What is your take on reality shows? Reality shows are good fun and they surely are creating a lot more awareness than you and I can anticipate. It would be great pleasure to work in one soon.
Does it have a physiological impact after associating with such reality show? Yes definitely it has an impact because you realize what all happens in the country you stay in. We are only aware of the stories that makes the headline but when thought, all such stories happen on a daily basis, with most of the incidents aren't even reported and people don't even get to know about it
Would you like to work with them once again in future? Yes would love to be a part of 'Crime Patrol' stories again.
You are playing a very bubbly and cute role in another show, 'Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar'. Which is closer to your heart... the bubbly girl or the strict cop? Both characters are very different from one another and so I cannot pick from either of them. I have loved playing the character of a cop equally as my character in 'Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar'. It gives me a chance to learn and grow as an actor. I make sure I choose to do different roles all the time.
