66 years of so called "independence". At what cost? We women are being raped killed and made to starve because we are women and we stand up against wrong things. This is independence we get after 66 years. Same old society and same old people with cheap thoughts. Some things will never change. This is the so called " society " we live in where people watch bad things happen and stay quiet and watch the drama.

I cannot take this anymore... Feel like throwing up... OMG. How can anyone be so inhuman. Ujwala was being raped as well. Just cannot believe what is happening to this country. This is not the country I grew up in.

I don't understand how one woman can do this to another. Why do the mother in laws forget that they to were daughter in laws too. The cycle of oppression and violence needs to be broken.

The girls parents are so naive. They don't get to see their daughter for so long and they dont say anything or suspect anything. They just bow down to them. Each time they come they pass that place where their daughter is kept cative. They can't hear her scream.

I blame the girl's family too. When they already knew that her in-laws are hungry for dowry, how can they approve the marriage...????
