In today's time, mere mobile calls and SMSs should not be taken as proof of affairs. Students and professors can have healthy relations. It is not necessary that every relation between a man and a girl has only love angle.

I have been a victim of such a narrow minded thinking. For last some years, I have been providing tuition - most of times for free as the students are from poor families. Some months back, I changed my residence. I had already told my landlord that I was a tutor and he was fine with it. He himself lived in another house about 5 km away. He came every month to collect rent.

I was providing tuition to a girl from a very poor family. His parents had heard about me. So they came to me and requested, "Sir, we both are uneducated. We have only one daughter. We want her to be well educated. Please help her".

I started tutoring her for free. One day the landlord came and said, "I have heard that some girl is coming?"

I said, "Yes she is my student. I had already told you my students may be coming."

Then he started shouting, "But I did not know any girl was your student. Then he started making highly abusive comments on me, that student and regarding the relationship between us."

I said, "There is no reason to suspect. When she comes here, the door and the windows are wide open, so anybody can see from outside what is going on. She comes with her parents' permission."

But he kept on abusing. Later my student's father tried to reason with him but he accused that he was forcing his daughter into prostitution for the sake of money.

Both Husband and Wife were selfish. None of them thought about their child. Wife was too busy blaming the husband for cheating and husband was too busy plotting his wife's murder. Rachna took it too far by checking his every number on the phone and calling them. They both either should have sorted it out or divorced. Sanjeev was sick. He only thought about himself.
