It is the parents' responsibility...
If they cant provide them proper education and living standard, they should not give them birth...

I feel that atleast school education should be free till 12th. Every child should have a right to a proper education.

I wouldn't say that today's case had any crime, but it was still very informative. A poor family are doing the best they can to provide their children a good education, but money keeps stopping them from doing so.

A mother turns into a surrogate mother to provide education to her children and give them a good future...

The case high-lighted the main problem of India: Problem of Population...

Chanda's parents were obviously poor. Her mother was a house-maid. Still, she had 3 sons and 1 daughter.
To get her sons educated, she did not educate her daughter...

What was the need to produce 4 kids when they cant even afford 1 kid properly..?????

History repeated itself: Chanda and her husband hardly managed to earn 10000 pm together...
Still, they had 2 kids...
Why...??? If they cant afford even 1 kid, what was the need to produce 2 kids...???

My point is why should the Govt. be held responsible if the poor kids cannot educate themselves...???
Govt. didnt tell the parents to produce kids if they cant afford...

Parents should think 100 times about their financial condition before producing children...

It is foolishness to blame the Govt. for this.
India is already 1.25 Billion which will soon be 1.50 Billion...

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE...?? Government..?? NO NO NO...

Those parents who reproduce haphazardly...

I could see the pain of a mother in Chanda's eyes. I don't think she did anything wrong by having two kids. Its not like they are having like lots more. Its just that she wants the best of her kids and every mother has a right to do that.
Its really sad that the Govt and schools don't want to help them. Here in London whether its private or govt school everyone gets the same standard of education. Its free and compulsory for everyone to attend school till 12th.
Private schools in India just care about money and nothing else. They should give out scholarships to people who can't afford the education and Govt should do something to improve the education standard in their schools so that kids don't feel left out.
I salute the courage of Chanda to do something to provide for her kids education. 👏

A child means a responsibilty for alteast 20 years...His/Her food, clothing, education and medical expenses are too much for parents like Chanda and her husband. Ultimately, the child has to bear.

Its really sad that the Govt and schools don't want to help them. Here in London whether its private or govt school everyone gets the same standard of education. Its free and compulsory for everyone to attend school till 12th. This is because the population is less. In India, the main problem is the large number... Moreover, the social stigmas make the situation worse.

They should give out scholarships to people who can't afford the education and Govt should do something to improve the education standard in their schools so that kids don't feel left out. Its not that Govt. is not doing anything. There are many schools..There are 3 Govt. in my area of residence but as I mentioned about the Large number of children...the benefit is distributed over it. and the final outcome is gloomy.
I salute the courage of Chanda to do something to provide for her kids education. 👏 Same here..I also salute her courage and energy...
