Ayaz Ahmed on Crime Patrol
Kolkata boy Ayaz Ahmed is on a roll. He seems to be the favourite of producers these days.
We had told you that he was approached forMajid Azam's horror series and Saurabh Tewari's love saga, both on Life OK.
But the recent buzz is that the handsome lad will be seen in Crime Patrol: Dastak on Sony Entertainment Television, which is hosted byAnup Soni. He has already shot for the episode which will air on April 6 and 7.
Sources say Ayaz is the surprise element and will not be shown in the promo of the episode, which is about a bank robbery by three engineering students. This is the first time that the Roadies' fame actor will be seen playing a policeman. His character name is called Badri, who will be called in to crack the case.
"Ayaz will be playing a young cop who is technically upbeat and has newly joined the police force," said a source. Ayaz refused to comment on the development.
