What next in the series

After this match, both India and South Africa will move to The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg to end the series with the 4th T20I match. Depending on how this result goes, the team which will lose tonight's match will have another chance to tie the seies there. Or the team which wins today, can win the last match as well and run away as 3-1 victors. Let's wait and watch.

Mustafa Moudi: "Hope SKY gives a Chance to Dayal tonight so that we see Rinku Singh and Yash Dayal playing together for the same team !!" -- No word has filtered through yet on India handing out another T20I cap, so Ramandeep might be the only debutant today.

Hello from Centurion, where a hot morning has melted into a cloudy afternoon. A thunderstorm last night soaked the place, but the thirsty earth has swallowed every last drop" - greets Telford Vice from the venue.

The series is tied 1-1 as we welcome you to the third encounter. India won the first T20 in a comprehensive manner thanks to a hundred by Sanju Samson while South Africa clinched a low-scoring second T20. India have looked the better of the two sides even though the series is level and the reason for that is their bowling attack, especially the spinners - Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi. The pair have picked up 12 wickets between them in the two games and comfortably outbowled South Africa's spinners. They almost defended a partly total of 124 in the second game and were denied a victory by Tristan Stubbs. South Africa's batters have to come up with better plans to counter the Indian duo if they're to take the lead in the series. The winner of today's game will ensure they don't lose the series and that is a big incentive for the two teams. SKY has lost the toss in both games but he was happy to bat first in both. Will the flip of the coin go his way today? Or will it be 3 out of 3 for Markram? We shall find out soon..

India have played a solitary T20I in Centurion. They managed 188 that day, riding on fifties from Manish Pandey and MS Dhoni but were undone by JP Duminy and Heinrich Klaasen, who, after two quiet games, could have a say again today.

Pitch Report: The sun is out and Ashwell Prince says it looks an absolute belter, like always. But it does look a little on the dry side, and the spinners might enjoy a bit of action. A few cracks, resembling pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and that might create some variable bounce. Batters normally love coming here and teams love chasing. 59m and 64m square boundaries, 82m hit straight down the ground.
