Sowmya : "Rachin Ravindra is giving the same feeling one got when Matt Hayden piled on the runs in 2001 ! Looks so assured and unfazed by the bowling! Sweeping at will too !"

ShehanKamle: NZ team players are having much better temperament than any other touring team coming to India, which makes them a difficult opponent.

Pant tells Jadeja he can try a few balls from over the wicket just to change the angle sometimes. Jadeja sticks to round the wicket

This one was shaping up to be New Zealand's session all the way through, but Washington Sundar has tilted the session India's way in the last 10 minutes. Devon Conway was dismissed after lunch playing an iffy shot, but Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell added 59 runs for the fourth wicket as New Zealand looked to be going strong. But Washington's two late wickets in that session has turned things around. Can India now wrap up this New Zealand innings in the last session? Join Sidharth Monga after the break to find out.

The double-strike from Washington Sundar, whose inclusion was the subject of debate, helps India finish the session on a high. He produced two absolute rippers in the last 10-15 minutes - the first of which cleaned up the impressive Rachin Ravndra for 60-odd, while the second left Blundell with no answers. Excellent exhibition of dip and drift from the young spinner who had been in good rhythm all day.

Eighth time in 15 innings, Rachin Ravindra has got out to off spin - the most he has gout out to a specific bowling type in Test cricket.
