Even in the first test match, Sarfaraz, Pant and Kohli scored well and gained a lead over NZ first innings score.

But since this is the final innings, pressure is a bit more.

"I believe Jaiswal has now tied Mr. Bazball McCullum himself for the most Test sixes in a calendar year " Swapnil, he is also tied with Ajinkya Rahane on 35 career sixes. Just outside the top 10 for India

12.05pm Anticipation builds for the second session. Yashasvi Jaiswal is ready already and is getting the GPS tracker stuck in his vest. Virat Kohli sits next to him on the sidelines. Mitchell Santner is also stretching at the edge of the boundary. Jacob Oram has a chat with him and Tom Latham. They will be banking on the pitch do more now that the roller will have worn off. The ball is also 12 overs old.

Aayush: "Tracks like these make it very tough for a new batter coming in. That's why wickets tend to fall in clusters. Batters who get in have to make it count. Jaiswal and Gill have to bat through most of the next session wipe off about 120-130 runs in the session. "

S Kishore : "Can't wait to start. Crucial session this for India. The series on the line, the chase is on and the Indian batters giving it back to NZ. If they get to 200-220 with the loss of maximum 2-3 wickets, they will strongly believe they can win this"

It has been a blazing start to the chase from India, but there's still a long, long, looooong way to go. 278 is an enormous number of runs on this pitch. New Zealand are just nine balls away.

Jaiswal doing good, other important thing is if we chase at 4.5 NRR or so per ovs better koz if we hang around more time than Track likely to hep nz spinner more. Today is only 3rd day wicket.
