5.32pm What a day of Test cricket after such a disappointment yesterday! Eighteen wickets, 12 sixes, plenty of fours, a few batting records broken by India, Jadeja's 300th, and obviously a day that will make Indian fans much happier. Only 35 overs of play had happened when the fourth day started and India will believe they can sniff something here. Credit to them especially for that blazing batting approach after bowling out Bangladesh for 233 despite a heroic century from Mominul.
Mominul stood out for Bangladesh in their first innings as the left hander notched up a fine hundred and remained unbeaten as he lost partners at the other end. Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers as he broke the 54-run stand between Mominul and Mehidy which opened the doors for India to wrap things up. Jaiswal and Rohit came out with aggressive intent and brought up the team 50 in just 3 overs. There was another 50+ stand between Jaiswal and Gill before Kohli and Rahul added 87 runs in quick time to take India past Bangladesh's total. Rohit declared with 45 minutes left in the day and Ashwin picked up a couple of wickets to set up day 5. We will be up and about early for the conclusion of this series tomorrow. See you all then. Goodbye
