That's a powerful total posted by South Africa against a comparatively inexperienced USA team. de Kock and Hendricks got the Proteas off to a quick start, however, Netravalkar got the first breakthrough by dismissing Hendricks. Once the opening stand was broken, the South African skipper along with de Kock had a fantastic partnership for the second wicket as they stitched 110 runs together. de Kock put away most of the freebies offered by the USA bowlers over the fence, however, he missed out on a full toss against Harmeet and was caught at deep mid-wicket. Markam missed out on his fifty by 4 runs, but it was a fine knock by the SA captain. Harmeet Singh bagged a couple of wickets, while Netravalkar also claimed two wickets. He was excellent in the 19th over as the pacer bowled four dots on the trot against Stubbs. Klaasen played a pivotal cameo to power South Africa over the 190-run mark. Think the South African bowlers should be able to defend it. Back in 10 minutes for the run chase..

Looked as if South Africa were on track for 220 or so when QdK was in full slow, triggered by a mauling of Jasdeep but the spinners and the irrepressible Saurabh Netravalkar dragged it back for the USA. Mind you, the USA did chase down exactly this target in the opening game of this tournament against Canada. Ashish will be with you for the chase very shortly
