That is as plumb as it can get! Length just outside off, and this decks back in sharply. Keeps extraordinarily low too and smacks into the pad, almost up around the shins. Southee goes up and Paul Reiffel upholds the appeal. Miyagi has reviewed it because, well, why not. Clear gap between bat and ball, and Ball Tracking has it pummelling middle of middle stump. Uganda nine down now!

A clinical, professional and ruthless bowling display by New Zealand. Playing for pride, they won the toss and made the most of the conditions. Boult and Southee got it to hoop around corners with the new ball, denting Uganda multiple times in the powerplay. Santner then hoodwinked the batters with his changes of pace and his guile, with Ferguson and Rachin also among the wickets. Southee, arguably, was the pick of the bunch, with figures of 4-1-4-3.
Another disappointing batting performance from Uganda. They haven't been exposed to quality pace and swing bowling before and that is quite evident in the way they have batted. Boult and Southee were lethal upfront
