PNG should be happy that they have got 136 here. They did not start off well and it looked like hard going when they slipped to 7/2 and 34/3 but Sese Bau held one end up and played a fine innings. His innings set the PNG team on their way, alongside handy contributions from Vala and Kiplin Doriga at the end, PNG managed to get to 136. This should not be enough against a very strong West Indies side but at least PNG have something on the board.
A couple each for Joseph and Russell with the others chipping in. West Indies used 6 bowlers and only Chase did not end up amongst the wickets
I picked Alzarri but Dre babu is leading at the moment.Originally posted by: SoniRita
I changed Alzari to someone else
Alzarri Joseph to Sese Bau, out Bowled!! End of Sese Bau. A slower ball off-cutter on a good length on the stumps, Sese Bau makes room to cut and misses. Sese Bau b Alzarri Joseph 50(43) [4s-6 6s-1]
Alzarri Joseph to Sese Bau, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
Pace vs spin in PNG inngs
Pace: 5/76 in 10 overs (ER 7.60)
Spin: 2/59 in 10 overs (ER 5.90)
Sese Bau: The pitch was slow to start off with and then got hard. I just trusted my batting and kept going. The bowlers should stick to their plans and execute if they do that then we will win
I changed russell from both potm and bowler to motie jiOriginally posted by: SoniRita

Nikunj: "Decent effort by PNG but I'm afraid it's no way close to a winning total." Feels that way, doesn't it? They are 32 short of the average first innings score here since the start of 2022. And, I mean, look at that West Indies batting card...

Alei Nao to Charles, out Lbw!! Charles lbw b Alei Nao 0(1)
Alei Nao to Charles, THATS OUT!! Lbw!!
Alei Nao, right-arm medium, comes into the attack
Given out LBW and Charles reviews. This looks plumb if no bat. Waiting for UltraEdge. No bat. It is ump's call and Charles has to go.
