Australia and the Netherlands will play against each other in a warm-up match ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023.

Pat Cummins leads Australia in ICC World Cup 2023. Scott Edwards is the captain of the Netherlands in the tournament. Every team will play two warm-up matches ahead of ICC World Cup 2023.

After beating Australia in an ODI home series, Team India is now gearing up for their first warm-up match ahead of the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup. India have been in sensational form in recent times. They put up a dominant performance in the Asia Cup to secure the continental title for the record-extending eighth time. Now it’s time for India to replicate the result in the ODI World Cup to lift the trophy for the third time in history.

The warm-up games will be crucial. These matches will provide the opportunity to test every cricketer in the squad before deciding on a solid playing eleven.

India will be up against reigning champions England for the first of the two warm-up matches today.

The face-off will take place at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati at 2 PM IST. The English squad has already touched down in India. They arrived at the Guwahati airport on Friday.

England will be led by Jos Buttler. Star batter Jason Roy who was a key to the 2019 triumph, will miss this World Cup due to back spasms. Eyes will be on all-rounder Ben Stokes, who has reversed his ODI retirement to take part in the blockbuster event.
