The other obvious difference between full membership and associates is the amount of funding they get from the ICC. The 12 full member sides are expected to receive 88.81 per cent of the ICC’s funding pot from 2024-27 ($532.84 million in total). While the 96 associates will split the remaining 11.19 of the pot ($67.16 million).

There are also different tiers of associate members, with eight associate teams currently having been granted ODI status until 2027. These teams are the Netherlands, Canada, UAE, Namibia, Scotland, Nepal, Oman and the USA. The rest of the associate members can play Twenty 20 international only as recognised by the ICC.

ICC few years back removes test status of zimbabwe but they are okayed plus iCC press them & bangladesh/ ireland & Afghanistan to play more over-seas international otherwise ICC will strips some of their membership rights.

I nishnesh belived Ireland/ Afghanistan should not given test status.( if icc wants more nation to add for test status like Nepal or USA. Its better to let them play 4 day matches in their Domestic front now, koz T20 or T10 totally diffrent format then 4 or 5 day test)

Zimbabwe beat pakistan in Pakistan in test series in the past but right now their test status also doubtful as they not involving in test match activities much, ICC have funded plenty.
